Bet this is a plot cooked up with BoJo. Brexiters will try to force May out. I think no deal with EU is more likely

Leadership election maybe, but why should it cause a General? We don't vote for the PM, the PM is the leader of the largest party. We really don't need another General Election again so soon after the last one.

Davis alone can do that. The balance of factions within the Tories is very precarious

Imagine Fox,Gove and Bojo went.

(Although i doubt Bojo would as he’s got plans to be PM imo)

Will only waste more of the precious little time we have left to negotiate

As stated, an utter shambles trying to sabotage the country

That's creepy, Richard. This was how I imagined people in the UK must be feeling right now with the state of SD during this past week... I just want the plot points

Another fickle tory? :skull:

and idk why people are celebrating when this puts us in a worse position for negotiation, unless that's all part of a no deal agenda

Honestly I'm just enjoying the sh*tshow, it's about time the Tories had their own debacle a la Labour and the financial crash

Brexit has been a mess from start to finish, I'd rather them see it out tbh so we can stick it to them for a decade like they did

No I do not. And I cancelled my Conservative membership. But you won’t see me running to Labour, they have had more resignations than Theresa’s had hot dinners. No, I am politically disillusioned.

It’s not about being fickle, it’s about standing up for your own beliefs even if it means leaving your own party, unlike a lot of Jeremy and Labour supporters who wouldn’t cancel their membership no matter how much they disagreed with a policy and thought it was wrong.

He's threatened to resign about five times in the last couple of years and lost a lot of his influence in doing so, I don't think this will change that much

I think it was in inevitable there would be some fallout. I expect more, while Teresa proudly polishes her turd.

We are getting to the sharp end of the negotiations and all the babies are throwing their toys out the pram:laugh:

We have people saying its not hard enough, people saying its not soft enough, and others saying we shouldn't be doing it at all.

May was always going to be seeing this through and then disappearing into the sunset. Her card was marked when she had such a disastrous election. However, there isn't a political party in the UK or a politician that could have achieved a true consensus because it just isn't there and it never will be. So I don't think she deserves half the attacks that she has had to take.

But Davis never said a word
in Public until this morning on Radio4 Live.
He backs the PM
but not on leaving the EU.

Sorry, but you really should expect a ****storm when you put a remainer in charge of Brexit

I can't see another general election, but I think there will be a leadership challenge. I ****ing hope there is not a general election anyway as there is noone I can ****ing vote for D: And I don't want to not vote...given people gave their lives so I could have a vote. But until all parties sort out their rubbish, I cannot vote for any of them.

No one should be surprised as politics in England is and has been a total mismanaged mess for the last 10 years at least

no wonder Scotland wants to break away from this utter sh1thouse debacle

There's no need for a general election really, even if the PM changes.

i said yesterday BoJo was involved in that plot. Do they think they've got the numbers in the parliamentary party to get rid of her and then elect a rabid brexiter? looks like they think they do

[He said: "Brexit should be about opportunity and hope. It should be a chance
to do things differently. To be more nimble and dynamic and to maximise
the particular advantages of the UK as an open, outward-looking, global economy.

"That dream is dying, suffocated by needless self-doubt."]
