At least there will be no awkward Emma live show when nobody gets evicted this time.

Thier not there... That said I've looked at bigbrother.channel5.com and there is no mention of August 17th as the launch date... Typically nothing is "confirmed" until at least two weeks prior...

Why aren’t they capitalising on the immediate end of Love Island?? What a joke making us wait this long

Because announcing the series prior to the announcement of the Love Island finale would have given the rival series the upper hand... If BB planned a launch prior to that announcement ITV could have easily extended the series and messed everything up...

For once Channel 5 seem like they actually care about giving Big Brother a chance... It's not a joke and has been carefully planned... Now stop complaining it's not the end of the world!

In I'd in the faq part

While I’m not 100% sure what you’re getting at I’ve looked over the FAQ section and did not see a mention of August 17th. As I said before the launch won’t be confirmed by Channel 5 until two weeks prior...
