tbh, looking at subforum structure, there's room for revamp.
If number of subforums is an issue then Health, etc could be easily absorbed by General Interests, also creative writing could go into General Interest. A lot could be done with shifting things about.
And be rid of SD. Nice idea but doesn't work in practice.

The poll/thread is what subforum would YOU get rid of, EVERYONE can see that SD/N had the most amount of arguments, id get rid of it just for the sake of peace on the site, it’s horrible going into threads of constant sniping and baiting.

(Note SD never used to be that way, so now it is a problem, it should be dealt with as a problem).

If we took away SD, we'd take away a lot of the hostility. I will still reply to the threads (if they interest me) because I don't actually have a second source to use as my political-rangy-outlet (I could find one, so could everybody else)

I don't actually hover into the SD subforum either, I don't hover in to any forum. I respond to the active ones that come up on the sidebar.

Although I prefer my suggestion a few pages back, it should just be moved to a subsection of the private chat threads. That way it doesn't offput the visitors, and it can still exist somewhere.
