They could donate them, even if they stripped the lining or something or removed the tags and donated them to charity to distribute to the homeless.

So wasteful.

Protecting their Quality Brand, Lady

Life In The City

If they removed certain distinguishing trademarks you wouldn't be able to tell their clothes from cheaper ones.

I have a Burburry jumper and the quality is about the same as ones from River Island.

every time i hear Burberry I think of that cover of American Boy somebody did called MC Burberry

but that’s awful that they’re burning it though, like there’s actually no need

I always thought Burberry was a bit tacky anyway, never really liked it,but to burn perfectly good clothing is stupid, then people moan that we have no money,no wonder when it is wasted like this.

Surely they could have had a mass sale,at least then they would have got some money for them.

Haha... classy. I remember when every "chav" (are they called Neds in Scotland?) wore Burberry as a kind of uniform. About the same time I stopped wearing it.

I don't understand. Why don't they re-use or recycle the material?

recycling or re-using is better than just throwing it away

It costs too much to re-purpose materials instead of disposing of them? :umm2:
