I know a lot of people are disappointed, and I understand why, but we wanted some new ideas, some originality and isn't that what we've got with this girls only thing ?

It's not like it'll just be girls for the whole series - of course C4 are gonna bring some more guys in later on. Just think of this girls only thing as a twist - because that's exactly what it is, it's not permanent.

I think all the girls are perfect housemates, and I'm very looking forward to the rest of the series.

Who's with me, or has everyone turned anti-BB ? :bawling:

I actually think it's a rather good start. I could do without the glamour girls, but I like that they have some diversity. So far, so good.

same i think its really good..all the people who dont like it...get lost..its not even 2 hours in and you hate it...you don tlike it just dont watch it but you will miss out on a great series...

And it's only part of twist.... its only the launch... and theres going to be a bloke coming in which i reckon will be sex crazy.. so there may be something interesting there

I am REALLY liking it surprisingly mainly because of the housemates - i think there are a lot of different characters in there.

Fantastic stuff. There's some really interesting people that have gone in the house and I'm looking forward to seeing how they get along for the next couple of days. It'll be interesting to have just women for the early part so that they can make friends and get to know each other like women like to do, and they can decide who is most likely going to be the kind of person to hang around with and talk to.

It'll be interesting to see how many men go in, I got the idea only one was going in, which will be strange, but it should be fun to see how the girls react.

I'm glad it's different than 6 boys and 6 girls, cause I've seen that sort of thing before.

No, I don't like it. I prefer the 'traditional' six boys and six girls. Put them in an enclosed space and see what happens. None of this stupid twist stuff does it for me.

Yeah I think the girls in the house is something different and unexpected - some of them seem like they'd be good characters as well. I wonder what they'd make of the males when they join?

I'm also not a fan of the twists. I like the original format, but unfortunately I'm in the minority, as most fans seem to like the twists and the interfering Big Brother.

I am SO pleased Big Brother is back but it doesn't feel right at the moment. I DO like the twist but after all the build up and excitement I've felt this series I feel something is missing ('men' the obvious joke here). I don't want to say I am dissapointed with launch night but certain things annoyed me. I much perfered last year's set up with the walk and then straight walk up to the stairs instead of the platform. I DO like the twist and there are some great people in the house: Lesley, Tracey, Emily, Laura and Carole (WOW) ALL standing out so far and theres some beautiful girls this year including the twins despite me being irritated by them. Davina didn't seem as excited as she was on Moyles this morning and after the house tour she didn't show much enthusiasm. The VTs were OK but different with a white background.

Anyway here's hoping for an EXCELLENT summer and that all those people who are annoyed love it soon. Surely there are lots of secret rooms with Davina giving clues tonight?
