I remember once a particular , probably predictable , user sent me a death threat. I sent in a report of the message and even private messaged staff myself however no action was taken. I felt unsafe on this site.

Is this your 2nd account? Cos otherwise a death threat and a vicious rumour in 400 posts is pretty hard-going.

I felt unsafe because the moderstors didn't do anything to try and help me - i was ignored

Of course anyone threatening to kill you isn't right but it is just an empty threat.
