View Full Version : What time do you wake up at the weekend?
Saturdays and Sunday's what time do you wake up?
I'm so stuck in the habit of the alarm going off at 4.30am during the week that when the weekend rolls round I think YASSS long lie tomorrow but my head thinks nah mate and I wake up anyway even though the alarm isnt even set!

I have to get up at 5.30am every morning in the week so at the weekend i try and sleep in until at least 8am but the kids usually wake me up at 7am! Although i got to sleep until 9am this morning! Bonus
Matthew.

usually around 8, if my “body clock” (i think that’s what it’s called) is sound, i’ll wake up around half 10

 Poor Josy.
I have suffered/ been blessed (depends on your viewpoint) with this all my life.
I went to sleep at about 3.50 last night and was awake at just after 5.30 this morning and I NEVER need an alarm.
If I have to be up at a certain time - no matter how little sleep I have had - I awake on my own.
I have never needed much sleep but always thought that as I got older my sleep patterns would change but they haven't.
I look upon it as a blessing, Josy because it affords me so much more time to do more things.
I will soon be getting all the sleep I need - permanently.

I'm awake at 5.30am most days , have been since a health condition arrived to ensure that, although sometimes it gets me at 3am and i actually get back to sleep for a few hours.

Get up =/= wake up
I’m pretty much the same, my body clock is a bastard and will wake me up 7:30-8:00 if I make it half 8 that’s a lie in for me

I'm a light sleeper. A very early riser.
I've been up since 4am. So when it gets to 12 noon, it actually feels like 5pm to me. :p
The days are definitely longer. :D

7 or 7.30.
Lots to do at weekends so no time to lay about wasting the best part of the day.

Unless I'm hungover the latest I can sleep to is like, 9am, and even by that point I'm not really asleep, I'm just lying there with my eyes closed and half tuned out.

I wake about 9.30 or 10 at weekends. Sometimes I'll read before getting up as well.
Weekdays I wake about 6.30am.

this is what i have a go at the TL for. She says to me on our walk this morning "oh i must sort out the front garden" and I said "yes you could have quite easily done that on Saturday morning instead of lying in your bloody bed reading a book" :oh:
unbelievable
