First (Honest impressions) of BB8/Housemates

My First impressions are that I'll never last the course - and that's the eighth year in a row I've said that and I'm still there at the end. :wink:

So, the question is.. will there be enough to pique one's anthropological interest this year?

..and what of the contestants -

Sam & Amanda - technically, two people, although they never seemed to be more than an inch apart. May be Siamese. Or a camera trick. Unbelievably annoying at first sight - and a big advantage having your sister with you to settle in, so I don't agree with that. But I expect they'll probably be not that bad once they calm down. Might even be quite sweet.

Lesley - interesting. Different. Signs of intelligence. But 40 years older than most of the rest of The House? Can't possibly cope with all that squawking. Can she?

Charley - one of many wannabes that we've seen before. Didn't merit that ridiculously OTT reaction from Rentamob, though. And will probably gettabe now. Favourite to be first out.

Tracey - by contrast, got an unbelievablely-positive reception from Rentamob. Pete without the swearing. Ought to do quite well if she sticks it. Hard to see where she fits in, though.

Chanelle - a Victoria Beckham wannabe. Not a promising start, but you can't really hold that against her! Imogen 2?

Shabnam - actually screamed more than the twins. Nerves overcame her more than any of the others - would combust if she kept at that level. Nikki 2?

Emily - Sounded rather like Grace 2. Which wouldn't be a good look. But might not be as bad once she settles.

Laura - automatically one of the more-interesting housemates because she doesn't appear to wannabe a wannabe. Good first impression. Early favourite on Betfair.

Nicky - seemed far too "normal" to be in here! Quite liked her on first look.

Carole - ah, a political animal. Destined to rail against authority (in this case, Big Brother). Never seen that before . . . should be mildly amusing for a couple of weeks.

Sam and amanda - i think these two are great, they are so sweet and funny and i think they are going to be really entertaining and i like the fact that there is twins in the house
Lesley - at first sight i though "oh god some old fogie" but now shes in i think she seems allright, and some of her facial expressions are hilarious :laugh:
Charley - i dont like her, she seems full of herself and think shes the greatest
Tracey - she seems allright, a bit strange but very funny
chanelle - seems sweet, may be a bit quiet but i think she will be interesting
Shabnam - wow she's crazy, but i like her add's a bit of energy to the house
emily - not too sure, a bit neutral if you ask me
laura - i am loving laura, really funny and down to earth
Nicky - dont really know
Carole - well, what a hair style LOL i think she will be interesting and rather funny

Sam & Amanda - I'm sure they might be quite nice and sweet, but my God are they irritating!? I started pulling my hair out when their film was shown. Bit interesting to have twins though.

Lesley - Nice and intelligent, but will probably be a boring housemate, like last year's Susie.

Charley - I liked her :shrug: She seems genuine, and she's good-looking too. But sure, she's a wannabe. But so what? That's what BB is for :rolleyes:

Tracey - Cannot stand her. How ridiculous - she's just a female Pete without the Tourette's. Really really dislike her. Irritating.

Chanelle - Boring. Hasn't really stood out yet - she's good-looking, but I'd rather watch someone fugly and exciting than pretty and boring.

Shabnam - Really like her, she seems nice and genuine, but also has a spark that could keep us entertained. Current joint favourite :bigsmile:

Emily - Quite like her, but she might come off a bit snobby in the house. She seems down-to-earth though, so who knows?

Laura - Really really like her. She seems so nice and friendly :bouncy: I'm hoping she doesn't get picked on by the press for her size, but it's probably inevitable. She reminds me of Beth Ditto, which is a cool thing.

Nicky - Didn't stand out really, can't really remember her. Seemed a bit pretentious.

Carole - Stupid political fool. She seems full of media-spinned rubbish, probably from the Sun, and it's probably just an attempt to convey her opinions (thankfully she'll be ignored as they're being voiced on Big Brother :rolleyes: ) Can't stand her.

Sam and Amanda-Separate bodies but seemingly have the same brain, as I said earlier they are like a couple of over excitable 12 year old girls who have had a few too many blue smarties.Will annoy the hell out of me.

Lesley-Not your average BB housemate that's for sure.Would be more at home in a library by the looks of it and I think she will find it hard to relate to most of the others in there and therefore seem boring.

Charley-I'm not too sure on her to be honest, did not deserve such a negative reaction in my opinion and I think she could end up surprising a few people or just turn out to be a mega bitch.

Tracey-Seems like she could be Pete's auntie, very eccentric woman and may well provide a few laughs along the way.

Chanelle-The posh wannabee really looks to be a boring housemate in the making, will probably end up a bitch with very little substance.

Shabnam-A strange girl,was very nervous and just a tad desperate.Can see her going from an array of emotions before finally breaking down.

Emily-I like her, can see her being able to get along with pretty much everyone.

Laura-More substance to her than most of the housemates, she does seem genuine and overall a pretty fun person and normal person.

Nicky-I think she seems pretty smart and wont put up with any ****.Potentially a very interesting housemate.

Carole-About as subtle as a wilder beast, can see her being an absolute night mate to live with but I think she will be entertaining.Nice beard!

Samanda- I don't really think one stood out from the other. Everything with them was very pink and very annoying. I do, however, think Amanda is the more bearable twin. Overall, I'm disappointed with them.

Lesley- She doesn’t seem like she will fit in, but I find her incredibly interesting and I think she has a lot to offer. She seems to always be slightly annoyed.

Charley- I seriously don’t like her. She thinks she is better than the rest and she will become some kind of famous celebrity after Big Brother. I also don’t think she is very friendly either.

Tracey- Great personality and I think she has potential to do quite well. She is interesting and funny, but doesn’t have to b----- or sexy to get attention.

Chanelle- Seems nice enough, but I can’t really remember her.

Shabnam- So loud. But at least she made her presense known. And she wasn’t as annoying as the twins. I don’t know if she has potential to win but she may provide some laughs.

Emily- Quite cool, but she seems a little cold. I like her overall, but I think that she could cause a few arguments in the house. She is one of the more normal housemates.

Laura- This girl is real. I think she came to big brother wanting to showcase her personality and not be some C-rate celebrity. I think she is incredibly bubbly and relatable and my personal favourite.

Nicky- Didn’t really stand out, however, I don’t think that she will cause any trouble.

Carole- Quite funny and a little over the top. I think that people will be amused by her for some time, but it may get stale after a while. But for now, she’s cool.

Sam & Amanda - My first thoughts were that these were pretty, sweet and quite innocent. Cannot tell them apart yet...and can barely see if their ears are pierced but seem nice enough ditzy blondes. However there voiced are rather irratant.

Lesley - Seemed to keep herself to herself and not mix as much as the other but seems a nice enough lady. Cannot see her lasting long if she remains to keep herself in the distance.

Charley - I feel she is going to be this years "bitch" she has a strong personality in the house and for some reason I dislike like. She looks moody and seems very aware of how she should look to the cameras and public.

Tracey - Firstly thought she looked a cross between Pete and dare I say it Jades mum! She seems to be nice which is shocking and seems real and genuine, quick to read the rules and pick up that most housemates wear make up and she is au natural.

Chanelle - At some camera angles she can pull off that posh look but we need to see her for being her & not posh #2. She reminds me of a loner though and a bit like Sam.

Shabnam - I can see her becoming Charleys best friend and being quite bitchy. I first thought she was pretty wacky and fun but I dislike the way she operates telling people things about hair colour...as if its trying to form bonds lol. Did like the way she talked to the crowd to cheer for her though when booing.

Emily - I think she seems ok at the moment but depends where her friendships bond. Not to sure on her at this early stage.

Laura - Seems a lovely normal lass but will start to annoy me if she constantly repeats things and seems to talk about wales/food too much. I would like to see her keep to her vt and be alive at night then I may like her more.

Nicky - Seems one of the nicest girls and made an effort with all housemates. Hope to see more of her and hopefully will see her more talkative.

Carole - I can see her being very entertaining, was impressed with her energy considering she was one of the oldies.

Sam and Amanda- these are amazing, proper entertaining and there accent makes me laff...could get annoyin but i like them

Lesley- nah i never like the old ones

Charley- claims to be a bitch but shes probly alrite, will definately stir it up though

Tracey- i like her alot.....ppl need to stop comparing her just because of the first impression. shes her own person, will be great

Chanelle- not seen enough of her..... dont really like her yet

Shabnam- at first i loved her but i dunno now, could be a bit of a grace

Emily- same as above^ loved her at first but i dunno, a bit too outgoing for the rest of them, could cause a division in the group

Laura- seems pretty funny...........

Nicky- VERY GOOD HOUSEMATE keeps herself to herself ... i like this girl

Carole- entertaining so far, dunno yet tho...probly will annoy me

Samanda - Common as muck. The most typical, shallow, loud and unintelligent kind of human being you can get. I hate them.

Lesley - Loved her straight away. Intelligent, different and bound to be a loner. She will always be up for nomination.

Charlie - Also common as muck and so so boring. Going on about her looks and other materialistic things. Can't stand her.

Tracey - Reminds me of Jade Goody's mum. Didn't like her one bit. But there may be more to her. Can't see who she will form a bond with though.

Chanelle - Also common and materialistic. I don't see the Victoria lookalike and I find her unattractive and rather boring. Nothing about her stands out and I can't see why she was picked.

Shabnam - Don't know what to make of her. Reserve judgment, but she has got lovely eyes.

Emily - Hard to say, could be really dull or might be a voice of reason. Pretty, in a non-threatening way. Also went on about her intelligence....we'll see....

Laura - Seems really nice and down to earth, but I am unsure as of yet.

Nicky - Seems bitter and resentful, but not sure how much of this was a gimmick. Again, I reserve judgment on her.

Carol - I may be wrong, but I think she will calm down and not be as active as everyone thinks. Found her video to be rather false and I don't think she is as vile as she came across.
