When I get near something I'm allergic to (mainly grass/hay/cat fur) my chest completely tightens to the point it hurts breathing, and my fexo stops/prevents that happening  Since my doctor gave me the inhaler that's been working better so I only use the fexo if I am going somewhere I know I'll have allergies to - but I used to have it every day.

300mg pregablin twice a day
Cyclizine when required (its anti sickness medication..have needed it near everytime I eat since my botched gall bladder removal)
60mg morphine per day. Though I was on 80mg which worked much better for my pain..obviously.
I am also supposed to take 240mg duloxetine per day, however it causes horrific side effects and I refuse to take it, and am currently being threatened that if I do not take it the rest of my medication will be taken away, despite the side effects being that I turn extremely violent and short tempered...
90mg acupan per day, though they want to take this off me too

Basically, everytime I get a combination that actually helps me and allows me to be 'normal' for a few hours each day, they change it to something else. ****ing dickheads

With them removing some of my morphine, I am now trying to find a dealer, to either buy more morphine to get my pain to a manageable level, or start buying cannabis, which actually works better than anything else :(

Edit. Forgot 50mg per night amitryptaline. To help me sleep through the pain

I also need to find somewhere that sells estrogen. My doctors refuse to give me it as they say that there is no way my pain is caused by hormones. However, each time I was pregnant, it went away completely (when pregnancy normally makes illnesses worse) so to me, that says its possibly caused by hormones. There has to be somewhere that sells estrogen online given trans people buy hormones online, but I can't find anywhere that seems legit :bored:

Well yes, however if you need the medication, you need the medication tbh. And if doctors won't help, what other option is there really?

I would love to know where to buy diazepam online, I reckon that would help me actually as I get horrific stomach cramps where it seems my whole body goes into spasms...and I am sure diazepam helps with muscle spasms. Again, doctors reckon I should just put up with it. Easy to say when its not you in horrific pain isn't it..

I would love for one of my consultants to spend just one day as me, they would sharp stop being awkward.

The most annoying thing is that most of this is caused by doctors ****ing up to start with. if the surgeon who nearly killed me had done his job properly, I would only have the rib pain to deal with. Rather than rib pain, stopmach spasms, feeling sick constantly and nerve damage in my chest :bored: So they broke me even more, and refuse to help. fantastic.

If they take my morphine off me like they are threatening to do..I have the option of buying it off someone, or killing myself. And given I have children, I cannot go down the suicide route really.

I was on that once, again the side effects were horrendous for me. Constant suicidal thoughts and again, random aggression D: The worst though were the urges..like, I got the urge to push my cousin infront of a train, and to smash a pint glass in someones face. I really was not me at all when I was on that. yet again the GP advised me to stay on it for another few months to see if it calmed down or not! Do you have an actual illness as what you describe are more classed as conditions ?

I am not sure what you mean by this?

I have stabbing pains in my ribs for most hours of the day, strong enough to stop me doing pretty much anything besides sitting shifting positions and putting pressure on my ribs to attempt to ease it. I get a few hours break from this usually, where I am (or was..before the op) totally normal and can do anything a normal person can do. This is the pain that I think is caused by hormones, as this is what went away completely when I was pregnant. I used to get this maybe once a month and it would last a few hours then go, but after I gave birth to my son, a few weeks later this pain was back with a vengeance, and almost never let up...rather than being only once a month it was constant.

The doctors thought the pain could be caused by my gallbladder, which was apparently inflamed. So I was told a quick operation could maybe fix me. So I had it. However the surgeon ****ed up hugely, he cut the wrong place, and left me with a massive bile leak. The hospital was trying to discharge me while I felt half dead, as they needed the bed. I was in total agony, quite literally screaming for pain relief and they told me to stop exaggerating and go home. However, eventually they sent a doctor to assess me, and he sent me for a scan where they found that I was basically, drowning in bile inside..thats what the burning was. I was told if I had gone home as was suggested I would have died, as I would not have got back to the hospital in time to actually sort it as the bile was eating my organs. So they did an emergency operation to fix this, and when I came around again I had huge drain things sticking out of my chest. Long story short, these drains were ion for 2 weeks, I had to stay in hospital for that long and ever since this I still feel like the drains are in which is apparently caused by nerve damage.

So again, not quite sure what you mean, but yes I do have an illness, but its currently still undiagnosed (the rib thing) but the rest is diagnosed as nerve damage.

Vicky, you could try soya in your diet as this mimicks oestrogen. I would rather try than drugs to begin with

here have been some concerns about the aluminium content in processed soy milks and yoghurts, so it’s advisable to stick to soy in its natural form – tofu, miso, tempeh or tamari – all forms of fermented soy.

Some women have also been put off the use of soy due to its phytoestrogen content, with fears that soy could contribute to oestrogen dominance (an excess of oestrogen), which is known to underlie female cancers such as ovarian and breast cancer. However, soy has a dual effect in the body: stimulating oestrogen receptors where levels are low, and blocking receptors from too much of the hormone where there is an excess. In parts of the world where traditional fermented soy intake is highest, such as Japan, they have a very low rate of these cancers compared to the UK or USA. Soy can therefore have a protective effect, and it does this by helping to block oestrogen receptors, protecting them from excess oestrogen.

Phytoestrogens also have a mild oestrogenic effect in our bodies. To put this into perspective, your own oestrogens are far more potent than phytoestrogens, and external sources of oestrogen, also known as foreign or xenoestrogens, which come from pesticides and pollutants, and are even more potent.

If you are going to supplement soy, make sure it contains all the components of the soy bean, not just the isoflavones. Research has shown that other compounds in soy may help to activate phytoestrogens, and may even help to protect cells from over activation.

Thank you, I will try that.

If it works, I bet the doctors will still claim there is no way it can be caused by hormones. I don't know how they can say that tbh, given the fact that it did go away in pregnancy, and my second pregnancy appears to have inflamed it further.

I was on 200mg of sertraline for like 18 months or so and then just came straight off of them and the side effects were awful and with what I can only describe as brain zaps, until you experience it you can’t really understand it, but it’s like a (painless) electric shock in your brain where it goes all funny for a couple of seconds, anyway I had to go back on it and then reduce my dosage

I was on propranolol too but now i only pop one in a morning when I feel like I’ll need one (which isn’t very often tbf) :hee:

That was a large dose, you must of been in a dark k place.

Harvesting sensitive data to sell it to the Russians? :hehe:

But seriously this thread should be in private chat

I got that with fluoxetine. Except I did get some kind of pain with them sometimes. Such an odd uncomfortable feeling.

I think GPs hand out pills to easily, obviously there are some conditions that require medicating but some conditions it should be a last resort.

I have to have my cholesterol checked every year due to a family history and its been fine up to this year when it was 5.7  anything over 5 is considered high... my Dr said the only reason she wasn't putting me on a statin was because my weight was fine. I did some research, starting eating porridge, stopped having dairy and added in some fruit and veg every day (specifically apples as the cholesterol attaches itself to the pectins and is taken out of the body) and 8 weeks later my level is back down to 4.4 so up yours and your statin basically
