GOGGLEBOX’S Amy Tapper has swapped her family’s sofa for the big screen and signed up to Celebs Go Dating.
The 18-year-old has quit Gogglebox to try and find her soulmate on the hit E4 dating show.
Amy has appeared on the cult Channel 4 series alongside her parents Nikki and Jonathan, and 20-year-old brother Josh, since 2013.
But after five years Amy told pals she wanted a new adventure and insiders say she’s the perfect fit for the show.
A source said: “Amy has grown up on TV and has always been with her family on Gogglebox so to see her out doing her own thing on Celebs Go Dating will be amazing.
“She comes across as quite shy but she’s really funny and quick witted. Fans are going to love her.
“Amy has told her friends she’s on a mission to find her soulmate and she’s determined the show can point her in the right direction.
“Everyone from Gogglebox has given Amy their blessing and they’re really excited about seeing her on the show.”
The Sun Online has contacted Celebs Go Dating and Gogglebox for comment.
Amy, along with her whole family, overhauled their lifestyles at the start of the year after admitting their Gogglebox diets made them unhealthy.
Each family gets paid £1,500 to be on the show and they’re offered free takeaways to keep the TV tempting.
But after five years, the family went on a group health kick – with Amy losing an impressive two stone.
Amy’s new adventure marks an exciting change for her, after five years of appearing on screen on the sofa.
She’ll now be guided by Nadia Essex and Paul Carrick Brunson as she tries to find love.
Joining Amy on this series are Chloe Sims, Eyal Booker, Olivia Attwood and Vas Morgan.
The show has already started filming and will be aired later this year.
