True Love Or True Lies? (New Reality Show) Nightly Episodes @ 9pm on MTV

Hosted by Maya Jama and narrated by the legend that is Danny Dyer, we’ve got just one question – have YOU got what it takes to spot the fakes?

True Love Or True Lies? will follow a group of couples as they settle into their beautiful new Tuscan villa – but, as Maya explains, all is not as perfectly perfect as it seems, as some couples are the real deal, others are FAKE.

But spotting the fakes might not be so easy, with the couples having to question each other on everything from where they met to how long they’ve been together to what their pet’s middle name is.

Because if you don’t know that, ARE you even a real couple?

Each night, after a day of more questioning than an episode of Mastermind, the couples will have to vote out the couple they think aren’t telling the whole truth in a love ceremony, with the evicted couple then revealing their real status.

And as an extra, very exciting incentive for sniffing out the fakers, the winning couple at the end will win themselves at least £50,000, with an additional £10,000 being added to the money pot every time the villa votes out a pair of liars.

Maya adds: “At the end of it, who knows who’ll win. Will it be a real couple? Will it be a fake couple? Will it be a lover? Will it be a liar? We don’t know but it’s very exciting and you should watch it because it’s gonna be amazing!”

Just finished the first ep, I actually thought it was alright. It needs polishing up a bit but has potential to be good! Danny Dyer ruins it though for me, he doesn't match the tone/style of the show at all, it's clear he's being used as an attempt to copy Iain but it's a massive fail.

Ex On The Beach has gone over a million in the past plus Geordie Shore has allways proved a ratings hit and ive seen it advertised a lot on Comedy Central, MTV, Channel 5 and its had a bit of media coverage leading up to its launch.

Just my opinion, considering there were only 6 couples I think 2 M/M teams is a little much, I'd have had 4 M/F teams and 1 M/M and 1 F/F

I'd say the same if it was The Amazing Race and there were 4 M/M teams or 4 F/F teams, I think 50% LGBT contestants when some are so obviously not together or into the other one is a bit extreme.

I've just caught up and watched the episode today. Shame on who went, moreso because I really liked Luke. Also I wanted them to stay in to ensure Cam and Shereece make the finale and win [as they would never vote for them]. I think Cam and Shereece made the wrong move. Finally managed to watch this. It was so ****ing good :clap1:

SO glad Liv and Louis won, I found them really sweet :love: everything about that final was perfect omg - a jury style interrogation, the eliminated couples moving back in, a 5-4 vote, they win AND they're liars (I really wanted a pair of liars to win all along so this worked out perfectly)

My other faves were Jack & Luke (I had a feeling he was straight after a while) and the throuple (38 year old Queen Cathy :love:), I found all the 'this is so weird' ignorance quite annoying tbh? Didn't like Shereece initially but had MAD respect for her being gay, did NOT see that coming :o and I didn't really like Mike either cause of his 'I'm quite manly and you're quite feminine so therefore you must be gay' nonsense

Really hope this gets a second series! I think I'd prefer knowing who the liars are though cause I'd like to see them strategising. But regardless, it's blown Love Island out of the water and most recent series of BBUK too quite frankly :cheer2:
