I told a customer today that we were closed to sit in but she could get a takeout coffee. She responded with ‘oh well i’ll just sit in with the coffee.’

It's either between not knowing who The Beatles were, or people on Fox News thinking that it was gonna be the end of the world when Barack Obama became President of the United States.
Although I have heard some stupid statements over the years.

My neice once asked me if someone could survive having their heart torn out and thrown in the bin. **** knows what brought on that question :umm2:
My son also asked me if its possible to survive on bogeys.
I feel like ones kids ask shouldn't count though. So I would say the stupidest thing I have had an adult ask/say would be some utter cockwomble asking me how I knew my daughter was my child :umm2: It was in the context of men not knowing if they are the fathers or not, I think she just did not think at all, but she also did not click onto the ridiculousness of what she said...even when I outright laughed in her face she seemed confused.

The media when commenting on jail sentences.
For example, seven men are found guilty. Each get 4 years each. The media reports it as 'jailed for A TOTAL of 28 years.'
Which makes no sense. You cannot add up individual prison sentences to get one single figure jail term.
It's like when the media said The Rolling Stones ages add up to 310 years. That also makes no sense.
