I wouldn't intervene. I'd feel awful watching the manager but with lots of people carrying knives and acid these days I'm not taking any risks? Even just a punch to the head these days seems to kill people sometimes.

I'd probably sneak off somewhere hidden and call the police or something though, not just stand there and watch like they were all doing lol.

If it was you being attacked would you expect everyone to just watch or help?

The manager looked liked he didn’t wanna fight them tbh. If you look closely, he was Shielding himself from their blows and not once did he swing for them. Honestly if he let loose and didn’t give a S*** about his Business, he would’ve Manhandled Them and put them both to sleep.

I mean look at that Height and Size Difference FFS!

He would have been sacked for fighting back which i an absolute disgrace.

But companies like this only care about their rep not the staff

Hence my point about him caring about his Business. If i was in his shoes, no way would i let two kids assault me and not defend myself regardless if i lost my job. But that's just me.

It was a lose-lose situation for him at the end of the day. He could fight back and potentially be sacked, or let him be their punching bag. He was Extremely lucky neither were carrying a weapon.

I would of course like someone to help me, anyone would

But I couldn't blame them if they didn't, it's understandable

There was one guy in that who was gonna try and help but didn’t. A bit late for the woman to shout for help.

He’s fine apparently, just a split lip. He’s not pressing charges but McDonald’s are.

I just dont get why everyone is watching i would have filled up a few cups of cold ice from the dispenser tipped it over their heads to shock them then i would have thrown a couple of the mini pots of ketchup into their eyes then put some fries up their anus if i saw it happening...

I'm so glad i don't work in a fast food anymore. It canbe quite dangerous sometimes.

Yeah I did a brief stint in fast food ... one of the shift managers (of which there were like a dozen of) was assaulted within a few days of my starting there which was a huge red flag.. then a completely different person threatened her in the shop a few days later and called her back on the store phone to say they would come back and slit her throat... I was there when she received the call, it was straight out of crazy town... I thought she had heard a family member had died at first because she just wailed and wailed uncontrollably. She had a bit of a melt-down and didn't come into work for about a week with no phone call.

I have had friends who have told me crazy stories like this before... I thought they just kept "interesting" company or some other factor, but I wouldn't say it was an unsafe area, but the population is dense there... I didn't stay much longer than that... I have a husband in law enforcement and we worry enough about safety.

I have a renewed respect for people who work those jobs. I think they work much harder than most people for what they are paid. I never understood why there was security presence in some fast food joints, but I get it now... easy to get an order wrong and to make mistakes and certain customers will come in with low tolerance and anger issues to begin with... doesn't help the situation when the employees are underpaid and working crazy hours just to make ends meet. I don't think it helps either that many people take themselves too seriously as it is and have to make an example out of every policy or other people when something goes wrong with an order or we feel "slighted" by bad customer service. It can really top off a people in terms of stress...

Scrawny little bullying cowards - I am 2 years older than Moses and I KNOW that I would have KO'd both of the insipid little pricks within about 1 minute.

A shop full of cowards stood watching.

Another one that's dangerous is those late night convenience shops , I always worry the shop assistant isn't protected .

But this McDonald's incident is crazy and people should be ashamed for just standing & watching
