BIG Brother runner-up Jonny Regan has finally set a date to marry girlfriend Joanne Llewellyn after a nine-year wait.

The couple will tie the knot on August 29 next year.

The former fireman, who lost out to Brian Dowling last year, joked: "I'm a big believer in doing stuff when you are ready and taking your time. But she's only had to wait nine years.

"She'll be one of those brides who keeps the wedding dress on for about a week."
