Not necessarily. During CBBUSA on the livefeeds Brandi Glanville was talking up the positive aspects of going to the UK for CBB - it allows you to lift your profile in a completely new country, but because the show doesn't air in the USA most Americans will never know that you've done it or what happened in the house - so it doesn't affect anything you're working on at home.

Basically she thinks an American celebrity would be better off doing the UK show.
