Subforum Suggestions

I made a post like this a while ago in some thread but it all got lost amongst an argument :eyes:

Anyway just some suggestions for making the main forum look a TAD more appealing than what it does now

Get rid of CBB21 from the top and move it to archive

Have Other Television and Reality TV shows directly under the Big Brother 2018 section, it stops the moving of subforms and leaving those ugly place holders that make you jump down the page

Drag race subforum

Archive all previous CBB/BB's and just have a general Past BB subforum, to stop the page looking ugly with all the Big Brother 1, Big Brother 2, Big Brother 3....

BB Aus got axed so get rid of the subforum

BB Can & BB USA could just be part of the international subforum, it's not like thats popping :eyes:

Better icons, they're all ugly (no offence) I've made some in the past (and I'm sure other people could too) but they weren't used for any particular reason

It just seems odd to have an international B.B. subforum that nobody posts about international BB in, is there really that much of an issue of it all being one forum? It’s not like it would effect people posting in there bc B.B. USA & BBCAN dont air at the same time :shrug:

I think a fair bit of the site needs to be archived and put to rest. It makes the site's lowered activity quite obvious with so many dead weight sections and still increasingly less activity... it can make it more of a ghost town than it really is.

After old season discussions are archived, a BB Nostalgia-esk area (i.e. area for past seasons to be discussed) should be added forum very plainly named Prior BB discussions, etc... that way all the nostalgia and old YT/episode viewing is neat and tide-y in one place. Keeps everyone informed who is still "active" on the brand and who isn't... versus having to swim through so many sub-sections to find other living individuals watching prior series.

A main BB discussion area can focus solely on present activities... and I guess that could lead to archived content with each season and have a "reset" when the season comes on, but I think just fine to let it all roll over... *also less work on admin to keep having to make one sub another another.

An Relationships+Love+LGBT+Spirituality sub (all same sub) should be added near SD to take a bite out of it so it's not got such an influence on the rest of that grouping. Chats and General Chat should be merged. There should be only one General Discussion forum, not 3-4.

Private Discussions should remain it's own forum for pretty obvious reasons.

Non BB Chat forum group should be near the top of the site. Under the sections where the new BB new/BB old(nostalgia) forums are in their own group... archived content should be cleanly handled in a forum group underneath that section so that it's very easy to find, and not a mountain of links...

BB international should be in it's own forum group after

Then Other TV shows group

Then general should be on the bottom...

Also a Shoutbox should be added, either on the sidebar or or placed amicably along with other sections to recover the loss of the "Chat" section... that will keep the most active group of folk front and center, will show the site's actual activity most honestly, and will allow other members to chillax depending on what crowd is on at different hours... something like this would work really well for this site. I actually wrote one for my own forum a while back because it allowed us to be a lot more casual and to leave "notices" of each other's arrivals while we peruse the rest of the forum... we also had an #IRC channel (chat)... (but that was just because we were nerds)

I am only here for a Drag Race subforum. I wouldn't say "every reality TV show needs one" because there isn't exactly a hotbed of activity for the likes of TOWIE, Made in Chelsea, Ex on the Beach etc.

Drag Race is literally more talked-about on here than Survivor, The Amazing Race and BBCan. Chop chop, before 2 more seasons are upon us!

I mean... I've seen a lot of mods disappear over the years... but none added. How would one know the process? Also seen none online for large amounts of times
