Basically, on first impressions is anyone seeing any similarities between this year's contestants and previous years'? I'm not talking looks, and to be honest it's too soon to be too firmly personality based, but I think there already seems to be clear 'types' of people which BB always has.


Chanelle seems a bit like Grace (BB7) or Sam (BB6) - potential to be pretty bitchy and catty, quite concerned about her appearance, will go fairly early.

Emily is possibly like Imogen - very good looking, and a perfectly nice person, with a slight potential to be quite a bitch. I hope Emily proves to be more exciting than Imogen though.

Sam and Amanda could both be a bit like Nikki (BB6) - nice to look at, pretty air-headed, but with the potential to be quite feisty and (hopefully) very entertaining.

I wish there were some men to compare

Normally on launch night, I take an instant liking to some of the HM's. This didn't happen last night.

Yeah, I agree that Chanelle seems a bit like Grace. And, yeah Tracey is a bit like Pete... It's hard to tell just now...

Shabnam reminded me of Mary (BB6) when she had all that make-up on. I think Lesley's the new Susie and Chanelle the new Grace.

I don't think it's fair comparing them to previous housemates. If you want a good Big Brother, why get caught up in the past? You'll just be let down if they meet up to last years standards.
