Other than Natalie and maybe Rodrigo, I'm struggling to see where the confrontations are gonna come from this series? They had this problem last series too :worry:

Are we gonna be left with 3 weeks of snoozefests?

Ryan pipped up a bit but soon crawled back into his shell.

Now Sally could erupt at any time.:shocked:

Hardeep is a superb housemate, easily the best housemate this series :)

yeah but there could be more housemates to come

Ryan is starting to speak up, love it. It's still early days, i'm sure there will be conflict.

nah there won't be any newer housemates and otherwise we should get rid anything new what comes in now, because those are big threats for Hardeep

Ryan will get going and Gabby will too. We need to get rid of the bully Natalie or she will not allow this cast to develop. Could be a great cast if she goes

Confrontations are more fun when they’re authentic. We don’t need some twat starting an argument for the hell of it lol.

If there was a reason to argue, they’d argue... if there isn’t a reason to argue, Natalie will still argue... and that’s sad.

They have never needed to cast 'Argumentative' people. Authentic arguments and drama will arise in that situation naturally due to the confined living conditions and the mix of housemates, we don't need force fed manufactured drama.

People wondered where the drama would come from when Jasmine was a first boot in CBB and it happened from Julie Goodyear being an unexpected villain. People wondered what would happen when Sallie got evicted after her feud with Gina. More happened.

Storylines evolve. I like Natalie. But the series will continue without her. But if the main storyline is Dan and Gabby then I will turn off and admit the show needed her.

That clip that was posted recently looked promising. Maybe it will kick off soon. Natalie sounded more pissed off than usual?

This. I’m not here for people who wanna be on tv intentionally provoking arguments. It’s far better when people slowly crack under pressure and start resenting eachother naturally, which is why I dislike c5 series a lot because they’re all for artificially sparking tension. Like rmemeber in cbb17, which in all fairness had a good cast, but like every task was reading mean tweets or getting people to say mean **** to eachother, and in the end the best moment of the series was one they didn’t have to provoke (the David is dead situation). It’s why I hate housemates like Natalie. Usually I can excuse it if it ends up getting people to come out of their shell or show their true colours but like with Natalie she’s just that intolerable and transparent

Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but I found CBB10 to be super dull post-Jasmine? Like yeah Julie was an iconic housemate but there was only so much she could do on her own and she hardly had any full on confrontations, it was mostly just her being an iconic bitch behind people's backs and her friendship with Julian  And I think everyone knew that whichever of Gina or Sallie survived would've continued to bring the drama/entertainment so I don't think that one really applies either.

I'm not expecting Natalie to last the duration at all but for her to be booted first and have to sit through 3 weeks of Nick talking about his banking mistakes from 30 years ago, Gabby & Dan talking about their on/off relationship, Hardeep talking about what meals he's preparing for the upcoming weeks etc. is just not my idea of good TV. There used to be a time where I'd finish a series regardless but there's been quite a few where I've just stopped watching because literally nothing interesting is happening and I don't watch the show just to see whether people can pass a low budget shopping task or not.

If that's the case why didn't it happen in BB4? or BB12? or CBB8? or... do I even need to carry on?

Well of course if you are basing arguments on massive outbursts, fight night type scenarios etc then you would have a point there, I cant recall off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure there was some natural arguments and minor disagreements/dramas in every series, its human nature...

Not everyone enjoys or needs to watch drama and arguing constantly to class it as a good series.

Some enjoy watching housemate interactions, tasks, the nominations, friendships developing and funny stuff and housemates actually enjoying the experience

I do NOT want another series similar to CBB21's conflictless dynamic!

The housemates were interesting though. I'm struggling to see what we're gonna get out of Ryan/Ben/Nick/Jermaine/Dan etc.

Bit of an early decision to make, i don't think there has been anything 'snoozefest ' about it so far ! So i don't get why you would saying this so early on ?

I'd like to see Ryan lose it, but I fear he is too much of a nice guy to fully go hammer and tongues.

Good. Nobody enjoys argumentative people.

Arguments can be interesting/entertaining to watch when they're real.

Not someone just starting an argument because they know it will be gif'd on the internet or because they're living up to a persona from a scripted show they're known for.

You're confusing yourself.

There was plenty arguing and fall outs in all of those series.

BB4 was boring, CBB8/BB12 were flat out bad but that's got nothing to do with people getting along and no arguments.

Even BB4 had so many fall outs. It just didn't translate to an engaging series, but was that because of a lack of argumentative people? No. It was just a poor series.

There's more to Big Brother than that.

BB4 was a dead horse, until they sent in an argumentative shouting Welsh lady for 2 weeks, and then it went to **** again when she left.

Yes, it was a dead series. Is that purely down to a lack of drama? Not really. The show was lifeless in every way. There is more to Big Brother than arguing.

Like I said, there was plenty of dislike/disagreement and even petty squabbling between the housemates in BB4. It just wasn't a good series.

If it's arguing you like, then you'll love 'Till Death us Do Part', Alf Garnett is always arguing.

You can get the boxset for around £25
