Im all for the production team taking noms back to normal which ive loved tonight it was so old school (bar Kirstie saving a fence sitter from eviction) but weve ended up with 2 housemates who could bring so much to this show up for eviction.

In an interesting twist BB should get the public really involved on eviction nights.

What if at the start of the eviction show its announced the public can vote via the app for a 3rd person to face eviction and that gives a character who could bring alot to the series being saved other than being chucked out 1st ....As usual.

These 2 are far to big characters to leave first.

nice idea but it wouldn’t work since the voting has already opened

If the public vote a 3rd person to face eviction then chances are that person will also be a big character.

And why have them picking a nominee AND picking the evictee

Not a good idea... This pretty much guarantees the public’s nominee will be the one leaving... They may as well cancel nominations altogether and have the entire house face the public vote each week...

A twist I’ve always wanted back when we had twists falling out of ears was; housemates nominate their two best friends, the people with the least friends are up for nomination

But, for example, the public could nom Dan this week but imo Hardeep or Natalie are more likely to go.

The simplest method to avoid this happening in the first place is just to have everyone with 2 noms up, or dare I say even just 1

With vote to save and a pool of like 5+ nominees, we'd hardly ever have to care about the result. The same for civilian too

I always hate it when there are so many people up for eviction, I usually prefer the C4 feel of head to heads but not when there's always going to be a trash result. Nat needs to STAY

Maybe have the whole house up on a vote to save and then have the housemates vote to evict the bottom 2 on the Friday?

So, like the public nominating and the housemates evicting.

True actually let me edit that and make it a vote to save which is what the voting system will be anyway im assuming?

I don't get the 2nd part of your response so...At the start of eviction night the public are given the right to nominate any housemate to evict even though they would have less days of public support I think a flash vote through the eviction episode would create a buzz and get a lot more votes for those who weren't originally nominated by their housemates as fans would be fighting for their fave.

Sometimes its needed im not talking about BB interfering im talking about US the fans making the nomination.

Maybe after the noms are announced on Tuesday then the public get to vote another of the safe housemates so atleast theres a chance we wont lose a massive character.

But then it takes all the drama away from eviction nights

I'd rather lose the drama from eviction nights than drama from the whole series. I get why people like an exciting eviction but honestly I couldn't care less about them? More often that not they're of detriment to the series, sometimes I feel like I wouldn't even be opposed to scrapping them altogether tbh

Hmm I dunno I feel like an unexpected eviction result can often be one of the most memorable moments from a series when its looked back on. And its not just good for the viewers either, a close eviction between just two housemates can have quite a big impact on the behaviour in the house as well and provide more drama

Drama is never lost from a whole series.

I'd say it's more damaging on a series to have it rely on and revolve around one housemate. Charley Uchea sticking around like a bad smell is one of the reasons BB8 failed so hard.

Dynamics/relationships change with each eviction/new housemate. Somebody who might be overshadowed by louder people, come out of their shell when those louder housemates are gone. That's what used to make the evolution of a series so interesting.

The only time drama/interest is lost is towards the very end when the housemates are exhausted and there's not many of them left for anything to really go on and everyone is just counting the days until the finale. Even then you still get arguing because with less people, the ones that are there get on each other's last nerve.

Whilst all this is true weve never seen a house with a dynamic of all housemates being in there for 4 weeks with no nominations. It could become more competitive and it would be interesting to see relationships change over the month...I think it would create a more cabin fever vibe.

Imagine finale night it would be like Eurovision lol.

Lets all forget about CBB8 though Channel 5 really didn't know what they were doing then and were copying yet cheesyfying the success of BB11.

Worst CBB ever.

Nah I don’t think they should tamper the voting system like that...
