ITV’s golden girl Holly Willoughby is in secret talks to replace Ant McPartlin on this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
The presenter, 37, is in secret negotiations with show bosses and will join Declan Donnelly if cover can be found for her on This Morning.
The only other hitch is whether she could face leaving behind producer husband Dan Baldwin, 43, and three children, Harry, Belle and Chester, for the four-week stint.
The Sun understands Holly is currently the only star in talks for the role — with bookies’ favourites Caroline Flack, 38, Davina McCall, 50, and Stephen Mulhern, 41, all ruled out by ITV chiefs.
Former jungle queen Scarlett Moffatt, 28, was also rumoured to be in the mix, but she will remain on the spin-off show.
A source said: “Holly is far and away the front-runner and talks are at an advanced stage.

Shame they have ruled Davina out as she could have made history by hosting the UK's 2 biggest reality shows

Basically they decided to go for the biggest name rather then best fit which could be a bad result

I think it's a massive gamble running this series without the two of them anyway
Hopefully it finally exposes how poor and tired the format is

Can ITV not find some young new presenters instead of trotting out the same people for every show, awful news, even Scarlett would be better than this

Omg iconic
Holly and Dec are HERE!
How does she constantly get gigs on ITVs top shows?
Sexual favours no doubt. Shagged her way up the ladder, like Amanda Holden did.

She grates on me.
I can't bear her.
Awful choice in my opinion.
Anyway, does this really need 2 presenters.

yes because the only way a woman can get jobs is through sexual favors.

Stupid choice, she's not going to suit the humour of IAC links at all
I haven't seen one positive comment about this on Twitter, hope it's a mistake that backfires and the show finally tanks :fc:

Ant & Dec also get chosen for most ITV gigs... would you say the same about them? Both are recognisable figures with ITV and both are popular. It was probably an easy choice for them to stick Holly alongside Dec.

Terrible choice! she's annoying , she already does enough TV shows . How many more programmes are we going to see her on :oh::bored: .
Paul Chuckle would of been a better choice , infact even Stephen Mulhern would of been good.
Holly will just be giggling and making daft squeamish noises despite not actually doing the bushtucker trials herself!.
...I don’t mind Holly..I think she’s a lovely lady but she is a little over exposed atm...it was always going to be a difficult one though...and and Dec have something quite unique in their close long standing friendship off screen and how they bounce off each other and bounce together so beautifully...that was never going to be able to be replaced with a new hosting partner for Dec...this must all be so hard for Ant as well...

For a few terrible moments, I thought you meant 'India' Willoughby from past horrors of CBB...I am still really not over the shock of that. I think from this moment on, we should all make that distinction very clear.
Ant & Dec also get chosen for most ITV gigs... would you say the same about them? Both are recognisable figures with ITV and both are popular. It was probably an easy choice for them to stick Holly alongside Dec.Ant and Dec are good at their job, they have comedic timing and showmanship.
Holly is a super casino host at best, she only gets gigs because she looks good.
yes because the only way a woman can get jobs is through sexual favors.Ask Harvey Weinstein, he'll tell you I'm right.

I'm pretty sure the only reason Holly got chosen was because she's nothing like Ant and so it won't work enough for them to ask her back.
Like if Dec and Mulhern did it then it would go down exceptionally well and people would miss the partnership. Holly will just present as normal and people will see it as an average replacement.

Les Dennis is the obvious choice because he looks like Dec's dad. In fact, if they both wore the same clothes they'd have a twin brother look.

What does a rapist have to do with Holly Willoughby?
Philip Schofield is overexposed, if not more so than Holly. Has he shagged his way to the top too?

Again with the generalisations about women... you wouldn't say that about good looking men who do well in television. You and many others would probably suggest it's more to do with talent. It's a shame women can't be seen as having talent without people saying it's because of their looks, or assuming they're offering themselves to the higher-ups. Time has moved on.
