BUT was I the only one who felt it was a tad flat/awkward? The complete silence and no crowd noise at all was just a bit... weird. Still, prefer it to the booing chavs influencing house dynamics.

Also Marcus's voice ruining it all during the countdown :joker:

I think it was the housemates not reacting that made it awkward, it prolonged the silence.

I genuinely think they might improve it for Tuesday's eviction, like they took feedback onboard from the launch and allowed booing so maybe they'll realise that Marcus screaming doesn't work :fc:

Think it's just because it's been SO long that we're not used to it

The only issues I have were with the weird thunderstorm music and the lack of a tension bed (I wish they'd use the classic one for Emma's intros too but that's a minor gripe) oh and OBVIOUSLY with Marcus' annoying bellowing which ruined it

Love the fact that Emma announced the results from the studio. But the actual eviction felt a bit anticlimactic. Marcus did the traditional 30 second countdown but then when that ended and the door unlocked there was just silence. It was really missing the "Natalie, you have been evicted, please leave the Big Brother house". Plus it needs tension music as the housemates take the walk of shame. It would have been better too if Big Brother did the countdown. Marcus was a bit too excited/ loud for it.
