From what I have read is that the series is scheduled for 25 days. Today is Day 11 I think, so basically about 2 weeks left.

It's probably difficult to get replacement housemates for the celebrity series, when they have to negotiate with people and pay fees.

Although having said that, I think in 2015 Katie Price was meant to go in a later series, but was brought as a replacement.
