[Vince Cable plans changes to Lib Dem succession rules
The 75-year-old Lib Dem leader is unlikely to lead the party into the next scheduled general election in 2022, it is understood.]

So he is copying what went on in Canada

[Sir Vince Cable will soon announce plans for a radical shake-up of party rules that could allow a non-MP to succeed him as leader.
A party source confirmed that Sir Vince will make the announcement on 7 September, just weeks before the autumn conference season.]

[Reports of plans to change the Lib Dem leadership rules were first reported last month,
leading to speculation that prominent anti-Brexit campaigner Gina Miller could be a potential future candidate.]

She has to have Bodyguards

She has to have bodyguards because of the awful, expensive fuss she made trying to overturn democracy.

Frankly the Lib Dems can appoint whoever they like to do whatever they want. They make no difference at all.

What a shocking statement... People are fair game for abuse if they challenge the establishment, that's essentially what your saying as all the challenges she brought were constitutionally viable.

This comment of yours smacks of some misplaced ukipesque bastardisation of what they would consider 'democracy'. When in actuality no amount of mental gymnastics in the mind of a rational person, in a civilised society would accept the possibility of violence as reasonable recourse for any legal case.

That aside I don't agree with having an unelected leader of any party, that's undemocratic!
