Roasting Double Standards !

It's interesting how Hardeep get's given a rough time for roasting Roxanne about her relationship with Ben, and even Gabby gets her knickers in a twist over his comments about her and Dan . But it's completely ok to joke about Jermaine & Chloe having sex . Infact most of them in the house joke about Jermaine & Chloe being together :bored: .

I guess Jermaine's wife doesn't matter atall then or her feelings :crazy:, yet Roxanne can cry and boo hoo over nothing and Gabby can get moody again over something so tiny . Do these idiots even know what a roast is ??, i'm not a fan of Hardeep or his comedy but he literally was put on the spot so he just said what was in his head . And they're the ones talking about these "sensitive topics" in the first place .

Difrence is Jermain doesn't seem to care at all about the Jokes while Roxxan was actually upset by it. Also i don't recall Roxxan having much part in the Jermain jokes

Also the fact that it was a roast changes nothing. Roxxan did not ask to be part of the roast, she was put on the spot as much as anyone else. So she has every right to be upset by what he said

Roxanne overreacted , it wasn't even that bad what Hardeep actually said . Plus she completely twisted his words :facepalm: .

It's funny how she can laugh & joke with Ben in their silly soap that they act out as husband & wife but Hardeep isn't allowed to joke about her.

It was a task to roast the housemates , it's not like he randomly started picking on Roxanne . He said things about the other housemates aswell .

Roxanne isn't as close to hardeep as she is to Ben so surely you can undersrand why she would be more comfortable joking around with ben as she is with hardeep. Also the joke isn't even at all the same one is them pretending to be in a soap opra (which she does for a living) and the other undermined her relationship on the outside world. Hardeep isn't even funny so he doesn't even have that to make it better.

Regardless of whether or not it was a task it still upset her so I really dont see the relevance.

...yeah he was put on the spot...they were all put on the spot, I think a roasting is something that is agreed to and emotionally prepared for in how ‘ouch’ it will probably be ..and also prepared by the person doing the roast..I can understand why Roxanne was so upset, when she felt he was referring to her relationship outside the house..and I don’t think she’s as self assured as some others might be and just not the type of person in her character who could just brush it off...
