Roxanne seriously has issues , whether it's because she's only been with her partner for 10 months or whether she's insecure . But it feels like she has to keep convincing herself that she's "GOT A FIANCE" :bored: .
If there's nothing going on with her and Ben , then what does it matter . She behaves like a child at times with the whole "can't a boy & girl be friends". She does play up to things, and with her being an actress it's as if it's for the camera's .
I don't understand why she get's so emotional and paranoid if her and Ben are only friends?, isn't she in a happy secure relationship? doesn't her partner trust her? :suspect: . And the worst thing about it is Ben just makes things worse with his puppy dog crush and sneaking into the storeroom and giving her hints . They don't handle things like grown ups , it's so immature.
She also talked alot more about her fiance which felt like she was trying to make a point . Her behaviour isn't natural and is far from mature , it's that of a confused teenager who thinks she's in love with her partner but she keeps having to make a big song and dance about it to really drill it into people .
She's very immature, but so is he. They are both very melodramatic and charismatic caricatures of the other, and it may be there's an artistic connection there... still, I don't trust that it's not just an act or whatever... but for the sake of discussion, It's hard to figure them out through all the wtf:
For example, Ben laid it all out, his dirty laundry, pretty obviously on the table... he has a baby on the way, he's been hoping from woman to woman from one impulse to the next with no commitments... but listen to how he refers to his mother-to-be through the entire conversation as this lady, the lady, etc... a mature person would've seen the writing on the wall for any potential relationship and been prepared to take that into account before "feelings" even factored in... reminds me of Stephanie Davis + Jeremy all over again... but even more superficial/facetious than they were (which is quite the feat)...
...yeah she does seem to have huge insecurities...I think maybe that’s also obvious with her OTT drama stuff, that she conceals herself and her insecurities within ‘characters’ etc...she can be annoying and I imagine, irritating to live with in that environment especially...but I like her...

I'm so glad you mentioned that , i actually thought he already had a kid . But yeah it's obvious he has alot of growing up to do , he clearly plays the field and is too impulsive for his own good. He keeps trying to convince himself aswell that he won't make a move on Roxy , did you hear when he said 'i'm not that guy' :bored: , while he continues to touch Roxy's face and show affection to her all the time.
Roxy's poker face was a mess in that moment when he told her he has a kid on the way, she actually looked devastated hmm.... why would she feel that way i wonder :suspect: .
Both Roxy & Ben have a similar behaviour pattern, they both annoy me . I don't think Roxy is sure about her relationship on the outside world . She clearly fancies Ben aswell .

And when she was supposedly " offended" by Hardeep's roast she was all over Ben ,and they keep acting out that daft play/ soap where he's her " husband " .

I totally agree with everything you have said about both Ben and Roxanne in this thread, Goldheart. I find their relationship somehow disturbing, and imagine if they got together in the real world, they would be co-dependent, and their relationship would be dysfunctional and unhealthy.

I'm surprised she's never had rhinoplasty.

I wouldn't be surprised if Roxy's relationship doesn't work out and the engagement gets broken off , and she conveniently ends up with Ben:suspect: , then he'll probably either propose to Roxy :bored: or get her pregnant. I know it may seem ahead of things, but i bet it's likely to happen.
Ben & Roxy are both so desperate and needy .

Probably just takes all of her brain power to remember.

I'm wondering if Roxy & Ben are going to tone down their little 'friendship' due to the ridiculous mess with Jermaine & Chloe
