1. I feel weird saying him/her/it... I want to feel like I know who it is that Im talking to so can use the words him or her without getting it wrong all the time... so I want to know wether to say him or her...

....hmmm I see what you’re saying, annabelindabee...lots of other forums do have the gender of members by their avatar etc...but that can expose them as well to *ahem* unwanted attention of a specific kind, which is something I’ve found...and Mokka does have some very good points...TiBB is primarily a reality TV fan forum...that’s not to say there won’t be little flirty bits sometimes as well...but it being what it is and the purpose it is...?...it’s a 13yr old minimum age restriction, which usually doesn’t apply to sites who do have the genders public...so there’s that to consider completely...with regards to what Mokka again said...anyone trolling or browsing for something else, would be given information that might fit their more sinister agenda..?...I know that genders can be apparent by posts etc and sometimes there are threads specifically asking which gender..?...but then that’s information given by an individual and they have a choice to reveal...rather than the site display it as something that has to be displayed, you know..that people have no choice in and that could add a vulnerability to someone...

OMG... there's 13 years old on here... I had no idea, I often thought that I was talking to a bunch of kids, now I release thats only because I probably am talking to kids...

Now it makes sense... If I knew that I was talking to kids I don't feel that I should call people stupid for not understanding me... there just young...

I don't think you should tell the views a persons age as that would be a target for predators... pedophiles, but just saying the sex... that say's nothing! Natally nun from CBB22 is scary... just because shes female, it don't mean the you can take advantage of her in any way!
