BBC news is talking about it which is strange it’s obviously never going to be as bad as CBB5 but it’s still huge?

Okay so complaint wise it got 11,000 which means it’s well on the way of being one of the most complained about programs ever and had a good chunk of the viewership complaining

Shilpa jade was a unique case but I certainly think this is the second biggest outrage

BB13, BB16 and CBB18 all had incidents that should've sparked international outrage and were more hostile than this

What happened in cbb18 that was that bad? I watched it ages ago and barely remember anything other than bear being annoying

it’s an insane amount of complaints to evolve from one night; the amount that flooded in case in faster than CBB5’s first did where those complaints gradually can in at first and as the situation spiralled more and more out of control they started crashing in

they didn’t go as far complaint wise as this has though, (probably bc of the viewership differences) this has blown up on social media and everyone is talking about it, it’s the first time in a long time I’ve actually heard people talking about it irl as a conversation topic

I'd say so yes. For that amount of complaints already is insane.

Saira being flashed by Marnie after Bear & Lewis told her to, repeated invasion of personal space by Bear against housemate's will every night as well as screaming happily at people while they cried, part of the television set being smashed by him which should've at least made UK news, he blinded Samantha Fox with water which didn't even make the show, and in general attempted bullying and exclusion to several housemates throughout the series.

CBB18 only got 3,643 complaints, BB15 got 3,784 and these were for THE WHOLE series

That was the point of my comment

well you didn’t really express yourself well enough because it initially sounded like you were saying those incidents were bigger complaint wise etc.

My mam hasn't watched BB/CBB since the Channel 4 days but has watched this series because everyone at work has been talking about it apparently :clap1:

No such thing as bad press

It’ll be interesting to see what ofcom does

Shame that people are going to be tuning in only to tune out a couple days later when nothing's happening anymore </3 This was BB's chance for the show to be saved.

If she stayed in and continued trying her bs and nobody had any idea what was going on in the outside while Ryan was continually getting crushed it might’ve ended up with even more complaints than cbb5 lmfao

Easily. You only have to look at the amount of Ofcom complaints..

Hopefully nothing, I think they've handled the incident well and allowed her to seal her own fate and expose herself

Complaining to Ofcom is sad, they haven't broadcast anything out of turn, if they have an issue they should take it to Endemol

We will look back on this in a couple of years as 'Roxanne almost saved the franchise'

And I will laugh cause people wanted it spoiled

It definitely is tbh. The amount of articles on Daily Mail there is about her is Truly Astonishing

It's funny when you think about the two biggest ofcom complaint incidients... the race row was seen as one of the biggest things that killed off BB and yet this punchgate was the thing that could save BB over a decade later

Unpopular opinion but the race row was blown way out of proportion imo.

Technically it is the biggest, it’s had the most complaints ever outside of Shilpa. IMO there are other times that have been worse but just the way this has happened, the timing, everything has perfected the trajectory and shot this into the sky
