OMG she's such a coward!!! she's actually left??? :skull: . She was clearly too scared to be put up for eviction as she knows the public has seen through her BS!!! . She isolated herself after Ben's eviction and spent all day in the diary room & store room!!! .
I would of preferred her getting nominated by the whole house and then getting evicted to a heavy sea of boos & hissing , but Emma would of been too easy on her anyway. So i'm glad SHE'S GONE! :cheer2: :hee:

In last nights live feed Ryan said that he knew Roxanne from years ago, she was a nasty piece of work then (or words to that effect), and that she was his best friend's ex. It sounds as if she could have been out to get him from the start to settle an old grudge.

I am sure she didn't realise how bad her position was when she walked.
I think she sat in the storeroom hatching another ploy to oust Ryan.
Ben had just left, she may or may not have heard the crowd but I think she would play on her vulnerability that her protector had left and she was all alone and made further demands that Ryan should go.
BB would have nothing of it, so she walked.

Aw come on Jack, you can't blame people for being incensed by what she tried to pull. She's the only one to blame in this, she started a storm but didn't have the balls to let it play out and face it. Her actions are cowardly but expected of someone who will stoop to that level of duplicity.

Roxanne has decided to leave the BB House. The remaining housemates have been informed.
Nothing further to add at this time.
Roxanne leaving comes a couple of days after viewers were shown accusing Ryan.....

I think Roxy needs professional counselling. In my opinion her behaviour seems to reflect someone who has suffered trauma in the past (Domestic violence). I hope
people in her camp encourage her to take treatment.
Many people who have suffered trauma may recall events & situations differently from what actually happened 'False memory'. So Roxy may believe she is truthful in her version of events where in-fact the truth is a different version of events.
Her leaving may be better for Ryan & everyone left in the house and they can move on.

THIS is what happens when the public reaction interferes and influences the housemate's behaviour, I understand why people are infuriated with her but now there'll be no more press attention, no on-screen interview with her, and it'll just go back to only us talking about the show. There was a very real (albeit slim) opportunity here to save the franchise, it hasn't got this much coverage in years....no one is going to care now, the show will still be axed and it's all that crowd's fault

very true!... maybe she was hit as a child and was mixing that memory with what she recalled ryan doing...
Its so whird to though as she knows the whole thing was film by BB (eg so they know the truth) but she is completely unaware that what has happen was not what is was...

Aw come on Jack, you can't blame people for being incensed by what she tried to pull. She's the only one to blame in this, she started a storm but didn't have the balls to let it play out and face it. Her actions are cowardly but expected of someone who will stoop to that level of duplicity.
Don't get me wrong, I'm gutted she's gone, I wanted her to face the music on camera but people have reacted in line with the severity of what she triedAbsolutely, that **** should have zero tolerance. Besides how awful it is for Ryan, it makes it harder for real victims to be believed and that's already an issue

do you believe her about her past as I sure dont
It put this 'car chash' instant into question!
Now I do just think that she just banged her head a bit and is exaggerating everything for media attention!...
I think after this if she ever does get beaten up by someone ..people will look back on this and will no longer believe her...
this is what happens when you cry wolf without there being a wolf... when one does come along people will just think back to time when they last said that only to find out that it was a lie... and they wont believe her

This is why no outside contact is important. I hope they work on soundproofing the studio and the house by the civilian big brother.

Unfortunately this was the one eviction where the housemates were right by the doorway leading to the exit stairs so could hear the crowd noise much more easily than if they were in the garden lounge.

I agree... you hate her for the lie... but you love to hate her as its funny to see her showing off to the camera whilst she thinks everyone is on her side when really they are not on her side...
I just hope it dont happen to me if I was in there... but I think if she would have stayed it woud have been better for her as she could of learnt and changed... become a better person... now she has just run away, it only makes her look worse!... shes lots her chance of redemption!

If I would have a say I think Emma should walk into a sound proof box room when talking to the housemates... as no contact with the outside world... should no contact with the outside world... not even on launch night...

But you could hear the crowd chanting through Emma's microphone even though she was in the studio away from them.

I think they persuaded her to go
I doubt they persuaded her to leave but I also doubt they did anything to stop her from leaving. It was pretty clear that she wasn't well enough for BB, so getting her out of there was the best thing for her.

Ugh I'm so angry
No more press attention
No further storylines
No anticipated eviction interview
Well done everyone, great job
The thing is though, she wouldn't have walked if she hadn't heard the chants...and many people on here were hoping she would hear them or were glad that she did
THIS is what happens when the public reaction interferes and influences the housemate's behaviour, I understand why people are infuriated with her but now there'll be no more press attention, no on-screen interview with her, and it'll just go back to only us talking about the show. There was a very real (albeit slim) opportunity here to save the franchise, it hasn't got this much coverage in years....no one is going to care now, the show will still be axed and it's all that crowd's fault

so people were thirsty for her to hear the crowd, now she's walked because of it and they're not going to get the satisfaction of seeing her get evicted to boos before being grilled by Emma

Or any natural, unrehearsed interview full stop
Or more press attention for the show
Or a contract renewal
But she heard the chants, that's all that matters!

...to be fair..she probably hobbled out on crutches rather than walked..or had to be stretchered out or in a wheelchair...because I’m sure she was seriously assaulted by a housemate on her way out...Kirstie feels evil enough to do it...I reckon it was her...

Everything you say is right but in a way i'm relieved. It's obvious from last night that Emma would've treated her with kid gloves when really she ought to be hooked. That would've infuriated me. She doesn't deserve a pity party.

To be fair, the producers are in a bit of an awkward situation here where a housemate has complained that they feel threatened and were assaulted - and they have no choice but to do something. To then imply she's a liar in her interview would've been a stretch also, so you're right in some respects - but the fact they showed Ben the clip makes me think they would've done the same for her and asked her to give her unprompted, unrehearsed, natural reaction - and see if she'd stick to her scipt
Now there will be none of that, if (and it's a big if) she ever does an interview, it'll be PR driven, rehearsed, with plenty of time to prepare, and full of bull****. What good is that to anyone? The consequences of that scummy crowd are enormous, not only have they ruined the series but they've taken away any chance for her to be held accountable

Yep you are 100% right. But they also saw everything we did and to give him a formal warning was a stretch too far. I'm no Ryan fan but the poor guy's head was in bits.
The producers did make an outright mess of it but is anyone surprised? Nah. "Hands up who wants Ben to go" Or like a competent programme it then goes to the viewers vote :conf:

I honestly didn’t see her walking over her hearing the chants I thought she’d tried to rationalise it and the house would be too cowardly to pick her up on it h o w e v e r Sally delivered, I guess?

Emma was clearly disgusted by Roxanne's behaviour on bots last night and Emma isn't exactly the best at staying impartial during interviews. Her interview with Roxanne was guaranteed to be a tense one

Hmmm, interesting how people see things differently. I thought the part when Emma said maybe it brought back something that has happened to her brought back memories was Emma making excuses for her. The same Roxy who jabbed Ben in the stomach earlier :nono:

My thoughts exactly .
Emma would of treated Roxanne like fragile glass ,the interview would of been cringy. I'm glad we've been spared .

I found out through the live show today so that was a nice treat
With just over a week to go probably £500k still not bad
Yeah though to be fair, she did earn it. Maybe it will go to something good...
The thing is though, she wouldn't have walked if she hadn't heard the chants...and many people on here were hoping she would hear them or were glad that she did

..if BB is axed, it isn’t the crowd’s fault though, Jack...whether we agree or not with the booing and chanting etc..it’s inevitable ...and predictably the reaction this type of behaviour and storyline is going to bring..because it had to be portrayed as it was in reality with its seriousness..So it was only ever going to create that reaction unless no crowds were ever present at eviction nights...and the chanting and booing would have been much too deafening to completely drown out from the house, I would think...BB have attempted to do that this series though with the different format...BB also know what a crowd reaction will be because they had no choice in showing things as they were and couldn’t manipulate editing in any way with something so serious...maybe not the chanting bit..but since the first serious of BB with Nasty Nick..booing has been a typical and expected part of BB with a housemate who has gained so much negative feelings in their time in the house with their specific actions...I mean as much as i’m not with the chanting and booing myself...it wouldn’t be realistic to think there would ever be a more silent crowd and especially not with something like Roxanne’s behaviour...and neither would it be realistic that the crowd noise could be completely blocked...so it’s just really as it is and as it was..but not the crowd’s fault specifically...many housemates have heard their negative chanting to get them out but still remained to face their eviction...but obviously Roxanne decided not to...and if there was ‘fault’ for me...then surely we would have to look toward BB themselves in the general quality of the housemates chosen in terms of research etc...but this was a storm year so yeah...just throw them all in the mix.....I mean we’ve all been chanting and booing on the forum in the way we chant and boo and what is typical to us to do...and the crowd chanted and booed in what was typical and understandable from an eviction crowd...I see your frustration but I honestly don’t feel anything is the crowd’s fault, Jack...

Will Roxanne ever be held accountable for her actions? She got the easy way out and I doubt that she will do any interviews going forward. She 100% for sure is not mentally ill njt ahe clearly has serious issues. Big Brother missed a big opportunity to explore more why she acted the way she did

..do you not think that she has been held accountable though, Bailey..?...I mean completely and totally and and in full view of the public eye..not just with BB viewers but the outer general public in the media interest this has gained...and I don’t think that BB is geared up to explore any physchology of it all with her actions...that would have to be an in depth thing, I think..I mean I don’t think that they even do the ‘exit preparation’ of housemates with a physiologist as they used to...and definately with Roxanne and her behaviour it was just..ok then off you g, it’s the best for everyone...is the vibe I got..whether that be right or wrong...she had already been shown what she would be facing from the outside world...even in her personal life, let alone her career..some people will be doubting her and any of what they felt was genuine..so she’s pretty much held full accountability already...Ryan may go down a legal path when he comes out and gives it more thought plus takes on the thoughts of the people he’s close to...and that would be completely understandable as well...but what would be the gain there beyond any thought about her atm...he’s completely cleared of any charges as it were already...and I doubt there would be any financial gain to be had for him..as I would say she'll struggle financially in the future as well...
