I think she was feigning outrage on BOTS, but she did essentially the same thing when she pretended that John was menacing her in the kitchen. "Why are you approaching me like that?! WHY ARE YOU APPROACHING ME LIKE THAT?!" She just couldn't pretend to have been hit. She did manage to get the other HGs to go along and act like John was intimidating her.
