[New Zealand's prime minister has defended taking an additional expensive plane ride
to be with her 11-week-old daughter.
Jacinda Ardern was criticised for making an air force plane return to New Zealand after dropping off her deputy,
Winston Peters, so she could attend the Pacific Islands Forum a day later.
The cost of the extra trip on the Boeing 757 on Wednesday,
paid for by the taxpayer, is estimated to be between NZ$50,000 and NZ$100,000 (£25,500 and £51,000).]
