So,
1. How does the format work? I understand the whole HOH-nominate-veto-(noms)-eviction thing from BBCan, but it seems like there tend to be extra bits added depending on the year?
2. What has JC done?? I keep hearing of how his behaviour is disgusting, offensive etc but I haven't seen the footage or any episodes so im curious.

1. Recently, series have added twists to it. BB15 had an MVP who would also nominate one houseguest for eviction, in addition to the HoH’s two nominees.
BB16 and 17 had 2 HoH’s, both would nominate 2 houseguests for eviction and those 4 would compete in a Battle of the Block. The winners no longer faced eviction and the new HoH would be the HoH who’s nominees lost the battle.
this series hasn’t had a specific twist tbh
2. JC has done the following
- Tried to scoop a houseguest’s vagina (Kaycee) with an ice cream scooper
- Used the n word
- Asked a female houseguest, Rachel if she was transgender and when she said no, he said she had a huge adam’s apple and touched her neck after she told him not to
- Made jokes about the #MeTop movement
but this is the biggest one, taken from the wikipedia page
Joseph "JC" Mounduix was once again involved in two separate sexual misconduct incidents in which he was accused of sexual harassment and sexual assault.[65] While sleeping in the same bed, Mounduix was seen caressing Tyler Crispen’s arm, face, and chest, as well as kissing his armpit while Crispen was sleeping.[66] The following morning Crispen stated to Kaycee Clark "I’m sleeping alone tonight — JC is not sleeping with me".[67] Mounduix explained his version by stating that he was "comforting Crispen who was having nightmares".[68] Later, Mounduix opened the toilet door while HouseGuest Haleigh Broucher was using it.[69] Broucher repeatedly asked Mounduix to close the door whom refused and tied the door open.[70] Broucher then yelled for assistance from production[71] and later filed a complaint with executive producer Allison Grodner.[72] The producers later released a statement saying that neither Crispen nor Broucher filed official complaints and that the two had expressed to them that they "did not feel threatened or unsafe by Mounduix's actions."

I think the hacker competition has had a major impact. Basically it stripped so much power from the HOH
