It can learn,It can self improve,It can make thousands of years worth of progress in an extremely short time,It can be used as a weapon and scariest of all....

Once it’s out of the box it can’t be put back in!

We are all programming it right now when we use the internet.

I can't take him seriously given how he accused one of the divers who rescued those boys in the Thailand cave of being a peadophile for no good reason.

Seems like a very immature and childish man that's also a bit of a fantasist.

As for the topic, AI doesn't really worry me, I don't think there would be an untethered AI that could risk everyone's safety. I think everyone involved in that kind of cutting edge technology is smart enough to know that limitless AI is dangerous.

First of all WTF on the diver ??!? :shocked:, why do people always quickly accuse people even when they're doing something good like rescuing& helping people.
I didn't even know about that.

And secondly i'm not sure they do know the limit of AI , might seem like an overreaction but science & technology is evolving all the time . So in a way it does freak me out a bit the thought of it and how far it can go.

AI is only useful/dangerous up to very set limits. There are far bigger dangers from bots etc and the spreading of misinformation
