and your private Email.
Even worse your home address

2 weeks before it was stopped

380,000 Customers at risk
Sometimes the data is sold on the Dark Web.

BA said it will refund any breaches.

It was up to the 5th Sept,
6th and 7th booking are OK

He had booked for the week before, then again for the Friday, eventually went early Monday
Think it was all booked from America though so he should be ok.

I do hope so Smudgie thats a problem anyone could do without especially being away and having to come back to that, which i presume will happen to an awful of of people.

In the US, with most CC's it's more likely there is some way to get the charges back as long as you can claim fraud... unfortunately breaches/fraud is so prevalent here... fuel pump skimmers, pocket scanners, etc...

The security numbers are not stored by BA so it wasn't a traditional hack. We do need more info on how this was done as soon as they have their systems locked down
