Great Job
Kinda like 'Miranda' meets 'Gimme Gimme Gimme' meets 'Toast' with a bit of Benidorm madness thrown in?
Brill to see new comedies being made
Hope you do well, keep us posted how it goes :wavey:

That's a pleasure Ellie, i love to support new comedies anyway
But coming from forum family members - it was a cool surprise to see something like that on here.
I know how tough it can be to break into these industries, but stay passionate, true to your vision and be persistent and you will make it  xx

I'm surprised at the production you've managed to pull together tbh! I think it will need the backing of a broadcaster to push it to being a proper TV show because there is a slightly amateurish element.
Honestly, I think this could be successful if you manage to get the backing of a big channel. Theres definite potential

WOW. I am impressed. It is brilliant. :clap1::clap1::clap1:
I actually began to titter aloud from about 1.40 in and it became more amusing the longer that I watched it.
In my opinion Ellie, this DESERVE to be successful when pitched and I SINCERELY hope that it is picked up and produced.
I wish you the greatest of luck with it.

Humour is entirely subjective
'I do not find...' is prob more appropriate than 'it is not...'
Thank you for the feedback x

Iv seen enough comedy since your parents were kids
What I'm saying is true
you’ve come a long way from making posters and claiming they’re official girl
she’s now a director!

Still subjective
Looks awful, but that's just my opinion, I'm sure girls and gays will relate to it, but as I'm neither, it just won't relate to me.
But well done for having a go and good luck.

That's fair enough
As I say comedy is subjective
I personally loathe Big Bang Theory and Friends

How is asking someone who wrote their own tv show, if they’re also in it, a personal question?

Every TV Comedy Series starts somewhere - even the GREATS such as legendary writer John Sullivan's 'Only Fools and Horses' - and the question here is; 'Has this idea got legs'? NOT; 'Is This the 'comedic equivalent of Usain Bolt'?
Look back at the very first episode of many established and loved UK TV Comedy Series and you will not only see how 'naive' and even 'amateurish' the writing is but also how 'skeletal' some of the characters are in comparison to the razor-sharp writing and 'fleshed-out' characters of the series as it progressed and evolved.
Yes - even the iconic 'Del-Boy' and co in the first episode - take a look.
I am not claiming that this from Ellie Brew is anywhere near 'Fools and Horses' (which UK Sit-Com is?) but even now - from the promo clip - it certainly is highly comparable to 'Benidorm', and the collective experience, skill, guidance and money of the production companies is sometimes all it takes to turn 'raw potential' into the 'finished article'.
I wish Ellie luck.

Very true Kirk, the entire first SEASON of most long-running TV shows, when looked back upon, can objectively be realised to be nowhere near the quality of where they arrived eventually... and pilot episodes can be straight up bad.
I watched the unaired "network pitch" pilot episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer a while ago (where Willow is played by a totally different girl D: ) and it's straight up awful :joker:. I guess the people it was pitched to could see the potential, though, and took it on whilst suggesting some tweaks. Such as firing poor Willow #1.
There are a FEW shows that totally nail their first season but, to be honest, when that happens they quite often spend the next few years chasing their own tail, trying and failing to recapture what was great about it, and don't last many seasons overall. Ch. 4's "Misfits" is a prime example of that S1 was amazing, 2 was pretty good, 3 was "OK" and then it ran out of steam.
TBQFH (sorry Lostie!!) ... Lost is another one. S1 of Lost is almost perfect. It never reaches the same level again.

It has potential. It seems on an amateur level as Derry Girls is to be honest and I adore that. The lead girl seems pretty great, who is she?

Th e fact you said 'gay man' when 'her' comedy show suggests otherwose
Don't deny the fact you asked a NEW member if they suffered from autism to try and push out a few hoarse laughs from people

Have you never liked a show that's not had your demographic as it's target audience before? I know that I have.
Good luck with this anyway Elliebrew.

But to answer you.
From watching the trailer, I know I wouldn't get that humour, and that means I probably wouldn't laugh, which is problem when watching a comedy.

Humour is the subjective thing is the world
It is informed by your background, you taste in popular culture, your taste in people etc
What is your taste in comedy's might I ask

Looks really good well done on the production especially.
One question though did you get permission from Little Mix and Jess Glynn to use their music if not you could get in a lot of trouble regarding copyright.
