Something weird keeps happening now and again on the forum... I'm not too brilliant with computers but when I click on a particular section some weird text comes up, and at other times it says there's something wrong with the database connection. :conf:
I managed to type this now, but I hope whatever's up gets sorted.

I just made a post, then this warning came up:-
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Database connection error!
A connection to the Database could not be established.
Please check your username, password, database name and host.
Also make sure config.php is rightly configured!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Then, when I was trying to look at todays posts & then clicking back to the forums home page:-
-------------------------------------------------------------------
MySQL encountered the following error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query
In the following query: SELECT username FROM bbf_members ORDER BY regdate DESC LIMIT 1
and then:-
MySQL encountered the following error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query
In the following query: SELECT t.* FROM bbf_threads t WHERE t.fid='39' ORDER BY topped desc, lastpost desc LIMIT 0, 40
and then:-
MySQL encountered the following error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query
In the following query: SELECT count(tid) FROM bbf_threads WHERE fid='39'
Is there a problem with the site at the moment???
Perhaps it's overloading or something else?

Yeah, it happened to everyone. It's basically because so many people are using the site just now.

I was posting in the BB Lounge & my post & Red Moon's posts have multiplied.
I got this error:-
MySQL encountered the following error: Incorrect key file for table: 'bbf_threads'. Try to repair it
In the following query: UPDATE bbf_threads SET lastpost='1180706815|nodisharmony', replies=replies+1 WHERE (tid='38926' AND fid='160') OR closed='moved|38926'
and things are going wrong still.
I am sure it will be solved before tonight.

It could be an intermittent problem BigSister.
Okay now, but in 30 minutes something else??
I am sure it will be sorted. It is not that busy on the forum at this particular time of day.

I have been having a few problems recently where as I can't see the latest posts in a thread - only up to a certain point if there are many pages. It seems to happen most in the lounge, but then, I do spend most of my time in there. :spin:

I have just worked out what has gone wrong with the multiplying of posts with myself, " ~~ " & Red Moon within the BB Lounge.
I just made a post, then clicked "Reply" & suddenly, this error message came up:-
MySQL encountered the following error: Incorrect key file for table: 'bbf_threads'. Try to repair it
In the following query: UPDATE bbf_threads SET lastpost='1180708939|nodisharmony', replies=replies+1 WHERE (tid='38926' AND fid='160') OR closed='moved|38926'
I then clicked "Refresh current page" on my browser & then a small window appears saying, "Retry", then the same warning message appears again. I repeated that three times, which has caused it to multiply three times extra.
I then opened another window on my computer, got onto the site again and saw that my post had multiplied.
Also, on the "Chat & Games" page/folder, where the "BB Lounge" is kept.
It says that there is 493 pages in the BB Lounge, "Red Moon" being the name of the person who posted last. but when you click on the link, there is 496 pages. and " ~~ " was the last member who posted.
I shall delete my multiple posts within that thread now, If it lets me??

Came up with:-
MySQL encountered the following error: Incorrect key file for table: 'bbf_threads'. Try to repair it
In the following query: UPDATE bbf_threads SET replies='12380', lastpost='1180709625|~~' WHERE tid='38926'
