View Full Version : The probable lack of bitching this year
I really dont think there's gonna be much bitching or bitchy comments this year, even if we end up with a house full of mainly females i just cant see it happening.
Im sure all of the housemates would have been watching last year, and would have seen the amount of abuse that Grace got and how she was Villainised for all her bitching. Every year the housemates get more aware of their actions and how what they are doing/saying will be percieved in the outside world.
For this reason i think the girls will be doing all they can to stop themselves slagging of other housemates, and will be biteing their tongues when it comes to what they really think about their fellow housemates.
They will be doing all they can to make sure they dont come across as bitchy. Especially the ones who want a future in the showbiz business after Big Bro.

They probably won't bitch to such an extent, but I think with the weeks coming up things are going to get tougher, and at the end of the day how long can you keep your true colours hidden? Especially when some of the girls at the moment don't seem to care, are willing to admit they're after fame (e.g. Charley) etc.
Although VTs are often exaggerated, I still think, generally speaking, the foundations of their audition tapes and what the housemates are about is true. If they're willing to put themselves across as obsessed with fashion, boys, money etc. the viewers are already going to have perceptions built up of them, whether they like it or not. And for some of the housemates, for them to break out of the mould is a lot more difficult than just going along with it.
Additionally, what with twists, tasks etc. hopefully coming up, it’ll give us more of an idea of what all the housemates are truly like.

Hmm, I think it's human nature to bitch.
And even if they're trying not to, they won't keep that up for three months in the house. It's impossible!
I'm sure BB will do everything in their power to create bitchiness. Either that or edit it. BB just wouldn't be right without bitching.

Too late Charely started it slightly yesterday.
I just think the "Grace Factor" will be playing on all the girls minds. Its true that you cant keep your true colours hidden for the whole show but i do think it will affect their behaviour.
I think the bitching will start when the men come in, theres bound to be a good looking bloke in there eventually so i reckon when the men come in the bitching will begin.
Yeah once there is a mix of both male and female in the house the bitching will start, it happens every series a girl gets upset about a guy and then ends up saying something about another housemate.

Yeah the bitching will probably start when the men enter the house.
People can only stay quiet for so long before letting it all out, some of the girls might well be aware of previous years and how they might be perceived but it's going to be hard to bite their tongue for that long and maybe they actually may think they are in the right to bitch about someone and that people will just agree with what their points of view.I also have to say I don't think some of the girls are all that clever so won't read into things too much and try and mask their true colours.People also say things in the spur of the moment without really thinking and some just join in to try and fit in with some of the other housemates, that was highly evident in CBB.
Paranoia is often a factor in some of the bitching and all, men are always seem at the centre of those paranoid thoughts.
I'd prefer them to actually voice their opinions rather than saying things behind people's backs but that's just not the way some people work.
tbh this years big brothers crap its never the same without the men. and the house is growing off me. i liked bb7 and 6 more.

I think bitching is inevitable really.
That is a very good judgement of what is likely to happen with a BB house containing, (All Girl's)
As they have only just gone in, it is much too early to say, "whether there is men, or not?", whether bitching is likely to happen.
But, I bet it does & sooner than we might think:wink:

It's going to come. I'm waiting to see who's the bully victim.
BB6: Sam
BB7: Shahbaz
Chanelle could've possibly been it, but she's got Ziggy to protect her.
Watching tonight it seems that Chanelle is the victim purely down to jealousy!
Ziggy is standing her corner well though! If tonights show was bad for Emily, god help her tommorow.
