Thats defenly a good point, beacause she's fat and not good looking, people dont feel......guilty for liking...orrrr......... sumin like that. Maybe even makes themselve feel good for liking the fat ugly one, makes them think they are not shallow.

Speaking here as someone who shares Laura's large fabulous 'wangers' (actually they can get in the way sometimes and no you can't flip them over your shoulder like a hand bag), I say normally I'm in unity with my fellow fuller breasted buddies but Laura annoys the hell out of me.

I still say she's good value and I rate her as my favourite housemate which sounds a total contradiction - Yes it is but there you go. She's still annoying which is why she's such a good housemate.

I hate it when someones size is discussed. I have been at both ends of the scale and let me tell you when you are over weight it really hurts when people do the "she has a lovely personality" thing. I know that even when I was over weight I was attractive enough, but people tend to not see that.

I think that Laura is a pretty girl, just because she is big it dont make her ugly

It's all about Laura's personality for me, but your point is a good and interesting one because it does make me wonder that if she looked different, would she act differently? She certainly wouldn't be cracking the Vicky Pollard and Peter Kay jokes. It's a toughie.

What I can confidently say though is that I think she's a good housemate, and whether her looks is an advantage or disadvantage doesn't affect most peoples' opinion on her personality and the way she is in the house. At least, not at the moment anyway.

I like Laura, but i do belive if she was attractive she wouldn't be no where near as popular as she is at the moment.
