one time i can think of when the word blackmail has come up for me is when i was really young and my friend said " i will only give you these cookies" if you let me play on your bike.

the other time was when i was in school and my mate said if you dont come out i will tell the whole school you are scared of fireworks.

my best friend (16, and in the closet) was texting an older man (40's, he seemed to be into kids)

anyway, my friend refused to send him nudes so the man threatened to out him all over social media, but if he did that my friend told him he'd go to the police and show them the man's face, long story short, my friend went to the police anyway and idk what happened from then on
