Do you think that's right? I don't think he's that great. It kind of proves the public are biased to males. I'm am a bit troubled by this, especially because the females this year aren't that bad.

Here are the odds:

Ziggy 6-1
Laura 13-2
Carole 7-1
Tracey 13-1
Chanelle 18-1
Nikki 20-1
Sam 22-1
Amanda 25-1
Emily 25-1
Lesley 33-1
Shabnam 40-1
Charley 66-1

(those odds are according to Paddy Power)

He seems like a cool bloke imo. Plus he's the only one wich doesn't make me want to put a nail through my head. Zig to win!

There's nothing to base it on yet though, is there? I can't imagine there being a sudden surge of female BB fans, all clamouring to place online bets on Ziggy to win. I can see the bookies deliberately giving him short odds based on the fact that there's a predominantly female (voting) audience though, for sure. Meh, I'm still not sure about the girls yet, never mind him after just one night. But generally, the additional hm's never do it for me at all. Except for Eugene.

I'll stake my next years salary on Ziggy NOT winning. He won't stand a chance.

Now now, he's not even been in the house for 24 hours yet. Give Ziggy a chance!

Ziggy has only just entered the BB house.

Naturally, he will come over very nice & friendly, willing & kind'n'all-that:bigsmile:

But as time goes by, he might air a particular opinion on a particular subject or housemate.

BB will be watching carefully & one wrong move will be shown in the high-lights show each night.

I wouldn't get too excited on those odd's at the moment.

However, I think Ziggy came over well so far, & if he does continue that way, he does have a very good chance of winning.

We shall see:wink:

Cmon, give the guy a chance!
I personally don't think he'll win, but you never know.

Yeah Give him a chance, i do think he will win, because males are more susceptible to winning but it depends on rest of the males that enter.

It's a bit too early to say, but I guess because he's new and fresh, people are liking him. We need time to get to know these housemates first, and then perhaps there may be more. Things are nowhere near 'settled' yet.

Spot on, when any new housemate enters the show this early on the odds are going to go wild. You can't read much into them at this stage. Lets wait for the house to settle down. Any male going in the house was bound to become the favorite given a male has won most of the Big Brother shows.
