Now Justine, 27, has vowed to give the show’s £70,000 prize to a cancer charity if she wins.
She will follow first Big Brother winner Craig Phillips who gave his money to a Down’s Syndrome pal to have a life-saving op.
Justine and Hayley were pictured at the wedding of the housemate’s twin sister Louise last year. Hayley died two months later of a rare form of kidney cancer. She was just 26.
The twins had been pals with Hayley since primary school.
Justine was so devastated by her death she devoted her spare time to raising money for Cancer Research UK.
Her mum Lynne Craster revealed yesterday that Justine had already helped pull in £50,000.
Choking back tears Lynne, 53, of Leeds, said: “Hayley’s death is something Justine will never recover from. The girls were extraordinarily close.”
Pals also told how Justine piled on weight due to depression after Hayley’s death.
A friend said: “Justine has been to hell and back. She has been comfort eating. She has said that if she won Big Brother she would give all her money to the cancer charity.”

I've heard Justine speaking in the BB House about her friend who died from a rare form of cancer.
I just hope some cynical people don't think that this story has been released to boost Justine's chances of winning.
