Hi, i'm new here (my opinions on BB so far)

Hi everyone, i've watched BB since the beginning - Loved most of them except for Celebrity BB when Jade returned and showed the nation how nasty she was once again (big mistake)

So far this BB seems quite nice, most people seem to hate the twins but I think they are "ok". They hate chavs which is fine by me and apart from being overly excitable, quoted as saying very dumb things (in the mirror) and giggly, I think they are quite an uplifting influence on the house.

Ziggy seems cool so far I like that he isnt too arrogant or abnoxious (the first male could have been alot worse IMO!) It's nice to see a guy with manners, although he says "WHAT?" alot when he mishears something.
He does look alot like christian bale from American Psycho/Batman Begins .

Emily I find irritating, that she want's a "pete doherty" type bloke, feels like she is trying too hard to be an "indie grunger" and thinks she discovered indie music - unbelievable coming from someone who claimed to be extremely intelligent in her video.

Carol I find hard to watch... she strips down to her bikini and it's not really a nice sight to see is it?

Lesley the same but for different reasons: she just hasnt done any research into what Big Brother IS - I hate it when people get in the show when they are not even a fan of the program, but I guess that's entertaining for us to see them suffering, right?

Everytime i see her on livefeed it makes me dislike her more & more.

Just wanted to clear up the thing about Emily, someone said (i should have quoted it) that it is a bit silly of me to dislike someone because they want a certain type of bloke. Well, this would be a fair comment if the person wasnt Pete Doherty! I mean come on, what does Emily see in him!? Seems like this is the year of the overly-glorified-junkies?

He isnt much to look at, he's always in debt and after watching a documentry on the guy - he seemed pretty unstable and nasty (lashing out and punching people) if he wasnt such a huge "celebrity" he'd be in prison like any other criminal.

EDIT: Also wanted to say that I think it's quite horrible of Emily to insist that she is 100% single, when clearly she has a devoted long-term (over 2 years) boyfriend outside the house.

Well, to answer that ^^ I don't dislike her because she's rich, I dislike people who BRAG about being rich (especially if they did not earn it) she claims to be intelligent but then in the very next line claims to listen to a "new" kind of music called "indie" - which has clearly been around since she was in nappies.

But I mostly dislike her because she is a liar. She told BB that she is 100% single and looking for love in the BB house. This is not true - she has a long-term boyfriend outside who is now probably very distraught (I know i'd be if my long term gf did this to me.)

I pointed out that I don't understand the point you're trying to make. If you don't like Pete Doherty's music that's a matter of taste, but he is a critically acclaimed artist and was the singer in an influential band in the early 2000's. Seeing as many people have a good deal of respect for Doherty, the comment doesn't make too much sense yet, without explanation.

I thought most girls had a favourite pop-star.

Well I actually havent mentioned his music yet as it's not really relevant here; he is always in debt, he lashes out violently at people, he's a junkie, a criminal (always in court) and looks like a total mess at the best of times, covered in spots and snot dripping out of his nose. So why do girls like Emily/Kate Moss find THAT attractive? It just seems like a really "cool" thing for Emily to say she would want a man like that, but it kinda backfires on her in my opinion and makes her look a bit desperate.

If you think he's a good musical artist then fair enough, i've only heard him play a few times (live) and he seemed "OK" he was extremely pale and swetting terribly. The music itself was nothing special, but in our current climate of poor music I guess he stands out quite well...?
