Charley and Chanelle's Stained Knickers

Some recent news from the live feed last night and a horrible act by Charley:

Chanelle has her period,a pair of stained panties were among the washing on the floor,Charly deliberatly moved the item that was covering them and made an issue of the panties,cameras zoomed in etc ,Ziggy was there in the bedroom when she done it ,lowest of the low behaviour I think.


What Charly done last night ,purposely uncovering those stained panties and making an issue out of it in front of Ziggy was pathetic.She obviously has issues to humiliate another woman in this way,nasty nasty nasty

I saw it and was upset for Channelle. Her underware was sitting on the seating in the bedroom and Charley was asking whose they were as they had period stains on them. She pointed them out to several people, including Ziggy. There was a close-up of the knickers and then Channelle entered the bedroom - Charley asked Channelle if they were her knickers and Channelle said that they were.

Charley notices the knickers (she didn't uncover them).

Then to Ziggy "If i tell you your going to be..." (makes sick face)

Charley "Its just knickers hanging around"

Nicky doesn't respond, has a short convo with Chanelle about food(?) and walks out

Charley asks Chanelle if they're her knickers
Chanelle "Why? Yeah."
Chanelle acts as if its no big deal and carries on talking about food.

That's such a horrible thing to do! How pathetic. The more mature thing to do, surely, would have been to quietly talk to the person who she thought those knickers belonged to. Yes Charley is going to get a Sezer style eviction outside those doors. And you never know it could be even worse than Sezer's eviction. For your information Chanelle didnt leave her nickers lying around Charley moved them from the washing area to somewhere in the bedroom. So its not Chanelle who to blame here its Charley!.

Regardless of the fact of where the nickers were. They were not in her possesion. Why leave them in the washing area? Why?! Answer me that? Get them washed. Move them where nobody can see them.

Listen, if I was in a house with other people and if by chance (God forbid) my panties (oo er) were stained I would take them off and wash them. Wouldn't you? I would be embarrassed to leave them "in the washing area" unwashed.

Unless of course you are now telling me they were already washed? If this is the case then beg the folk in the diary room for some stain remover. Or throw them out (wrapped in 6 plastic bags) It's simple really.

OPL73, I can't say I agree with your point, entirely. I find it very distasteful the way she (Charley) has drawn attention to something which most people would prefer is not made a big deal out of. All girls have the issues we are reffering to, and putting the 'washing' in the washing pile for Carole to wash (like she agreed to) is exactly what all the housemates had agreed to do. Even if certain people would prefer to keep the dirty item to themself and wash it in private, Chanelle chose not to and put it in the washing pile, where it belonged.

I think Charley drew attention to this in much the same way she drew attention to Leslie urinating in the shower. It was a distasteful subject, and anyone would surely prefer to keep it to as few people as possible, but Charley likes to re'enact these incidents, putting her own spin on things, and make sure everyone listening understands that the subject of the conversation is the subject of ridicule ( i.e. Leslie and Chanelle.) . If Charley is so bothered about these 'dirty' bodily functions, why is she the one who makes the biggest song and dance about it all?

These incidents arn't my idea of entertainment. I know alot of people are liking Charley's behaviour, but I find it all abit distasteful, as I said earlier, and it's really not the sort of thing I'm going to be watching for. If everthing has to revolve around urine and dirty underwear, I think I'll wait til Charley's been evicted before I watch regularly, and hopefully, she can calm down and stop acting like this, trying to embarrass her housemates, because it's not nice, nor entertaining. If she survives Ziggy's vote, I hope she can take advantage of the stroke of luck and start being a bit less of an attention seeker.

Regardless of who moved the knickers to where, if I had been a HM and seen the dirty knickers, I would have either covered them up, or if I knew who they belonged to I would have gone straight to them and quietly said something to them about the fact that the other HMs could see them.

Charley is a vile woman. She's a disgrace. Surely every woman has had an incident with her knickers when she's on her period, including Charley. She obviously hasn't stopped to think what she will do in the event of it happening to her in the house.

As for washing them, I'm guessing that Chanelle felt that it would draw more attention and be more embarassing in the long run if she hand washed them in the sink as soon as it happened. Therefore she put them discretely in the washing pile, which the cameras really shouldn't be interested in. If it weren't for Charley, we would have been none the wiser. I'm sure this must have happened in previous BBs, but we weren't made aware of it because there hasn't been anyone nasty enough to do something like that. Not even Grace, who a lot of people thought was vile.

Edit to add: As for chucking them out.. knickers aren't cheap, and I wouldn't chuck them out if they could easily wash.

I understand people's sentiments on the whole knickers affair, it was a little crual. yeah .. usually racism sells & plays on people's psyche better than anything, now a days..

Look at Shipla Shetty (I am from India& can see it)- from being a no starter a few years back, to calling herself a Princess or whatever on BB.. now she has it ALL, from a well orchestrated drama..
So to speak Indians, due to the varied cultures, ethnicity and size of the country is more desensitized to nasty comments and from 'one Indian to another', might not always think of it as racist comment/ harrasment..

But then on BB and big prize money shows, one needs to spice things up to get the TRPs (for the producers) and fame (for the mediocre celebrities)..
