View Full Version : Not feeling too good...
Unless somehting big comes to fruition , the glory days are getting further away as I speak. I would grovel on my hands and knees for Big Brother 6 at this point , with its big diverse characters and lovely spacious and colourful house that many an argument has happened in. Same goes for Big Brother 7. Even that to this.
I know its early days but something seems very , very wrong with BB8.

I think it to early to tell what the whole series will be like. It needed something different this year and they certianly have made it different. If it works as an idea only time will tell.

I love it, give it a chance it's only day 4.
I think it's going to get better as it goes on :D
In my opinion the only saving grace is getting a lot of men in their. And fast. Characters.
Because at the present rate it feels like a house next door. Everything is an anticlimax at present for me. Big Brother 8 is so dilluted.
And if they are too afraid to come out of the post CBB shell this series , then Jade Goody was indeed the begining of the end for Big Brother.
This series , at least.
Come on. From the opening nights of Big brothers 5-7 you could feel it was going to be good.
I'm liking it. I'm sure Charley will kick off sooner or later...

Im loving this years bb....
the live feeds are great too.
I think its gonna be a great series as long as they have good tasks.
I'm sure it's too early to say how this one will pan out. But at the moment I would have to disagree, in that I have a very good feeling about how it's looking . I think it will all be a lot clearer when we have a better idea of all the hms.

I didn't really feel that 7 was going to be good at all and 6 was an anticlimax after 5. Both 6 and 7 seemed slow at the start and were hard to get into. Overall 6 was much better than 7 which was on par with 4. 7 just got worse from launch night and didn't pick-up to Nikki left and then dipped again when she reentered the house.
And if it does turn out rubbish lets hope they dust off that evil bro for next year!!!
A la BB4!

Shabaz anyone? I cant identify with BB7 being anywhere near as bad as BB4 but if thats your opinion......
I'm feeling the same way to be honest, it just seems to be dragging along waiting for the rest of the blokes to go in before it can finally get going.I just don't think many of the housemates have much substance so far to be honest.
I'm willing to give it a chance of course but I'm not enjoying it as much as the start of previous series.

I think Pete may have ruined Big Brother last year, and also characters like Nikki.
Maybee if I liked the candy flossed brained nanny as much as everybody else my opinions would be different , but as it stands she is an insult to my eyes and my ears.

To begin with, I felt the same. But now I'm thinking that perhaps it's a good thing that we've not started off on an extremely high note, because it would be difficult to maintain it throughout all the weeks. Every series goes through its ups and downs and I'd rather things were rocky at the start.
Additionally, although it's not been confirmed, I doubt we even have our full set of housemates etc. yet, plus group dynamics haven't settled, we've not had enough tasks/secret missions. So I'm willing to stay enthusiastic and wait for what's to come.

That is a very good point, by not starting off with a big bang the show can only get better ane better rather than becoming duller and duller as it goes on.
Good post

Some very good points their but im judging all of my opinions on strenght of character alone.
Im mystefied as to people who support a Welsh nanny with nothing entertaining to offer but lambast that guy last year who jumped in the pool drunk with a piece of furniture on his head.
Also I fully agree with you on not having our full set of housemates but it leaves me wondering how are we going to get all those boys in quickly? :conf:

Lmao  Well I think it's because Laura's quite different but funny along with it. I quite like her so far - she's done nothing to make me dislike her but I do agree I don't know much about her yet and I want to see more of her, along with others.
And erm about the other boys... I don't know, maybe something involving the basement?

No. I think she has a fantastic personality.
You dislike her because she is big. Which is plain nasty

Its clear that we havent had all the housemates so I dont think I can comment on whether this is a good year or not. I am finding that an all but one bloke household is taking its toll on me. But its an interesting twist. Ziggy must be in heaven.

I simply do not like Laura.
Its not about size.
I like Carol. Hardly Vogue material.

Im assumed plain nasty - no red little warning text. I failed to see the direct insult in my post however. The last thing I want is for this topic of mine to turn into a topic about my least favourite housemate but the respect of my opinion to find Laura as interesting as yesterdays newspaper should be adhered to!
Some people cant handle a little bit of intense and thought provoking discussion around here!!!
Not that anything intense and thought provoking can come from Laura :joker::joker::joker:.
[Sorry , could not resist].

The rules state you can talk about housemates to your hearts content but you are not allowed to pass judgement or insult other members for their views which you clearly did
Now lets move on....

The thing is with Laura, if some people dislike her, the others who like her will defenatly say, we hate her only because she is big ! That's awful guys ! I don't like her and not because she is big, that's terrible to think that !
As you said earlier it's in the personality so please Laura fans, I respect your opinion, please respect ours and don't automaticly think we don't like her because she's big !

Thanks. I feel all special now .

BB8 is different from the others because it's in a different way !
We have a new type of house, a brand new world first with 11 females on it, we ask questions like we didn't before, there is a debate about the "where are all the men ?". We have also, a new bunch of housemates with new stereotypes.
I just enjoy this show now, I hope the twist will be amazing to watch !

This is the first time I have looked forward to the nightly episodes for a few years so I must like the housemates and think they have the potential for a good run BUT if the public muck and kick all the good ones out early I WILL NOT BE HAPPY!
