I just wanted some clarification on a posting issue.

Say a post is made and an admin or mod modify, remove a part and add a comment to this post. I have noticed that it is possible to then go and edit the original post and remove the comment from the admin/mod.

Surely this shouldnt be allowed????

Yeah, it shouldn't be allowed. It is a quirk of the way the message board (currently) works. Although I'd say it is very 'frowned upon' for people to edit moderators comments.

The problem with pointing out a loophole like this publicly, kizwiz. Is, that the idea which you mentioned might now be put into effect by a naughty member who didn't know that they could do this before.

I certainly wouldn't have the audacity to ever do that & I agree with James, that anybody even considering doing that should be looked upon very badly.

It's hard to deal with a grey area like this.

I bet Sunny & your Red would jump on them straight away:wink:

I did it today in disagreement when Red said I insulted another member directly because I made a comment on their character.

And im proud to admit it! :laugh2:

Dont jump on me though , I dont swing that way .

You might well have done it Stu, but to think it is clever is nothing short of childish. We are very busy here just now trying to keep things running smoothly and if people are going to push the boundaries they are simply going to get a ban!
