I wouldn’t mind starring in BB with 11 women says Glyn

Jun 1 2007

by Eryl Crump, Daily Post

GLYN Wise would have been overjoyed to be in the Big Brother house with 11 women, he revealed last night.

But he admitted his joy may have been shortlived.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Post on the Maes of the Urdd Eisteddfod at Carmarthen, the former Big Brother runner-up said he could see himself falling out with some of them.

Nursing a sore throat he said: “There were much nicer people in the house with me last year. I’m already beginning to hate some of the people who are in the Big Brother house now.

“I hate the posh girl Emily in particular. She’s just too much. I don’t think I could have got on with Lesley, the WI member either. The people I didn’t get on with were the older ones.”

Glyn said he was quite fond of Sam and Amanda, the 18-year-old twins, who he said looked like they would be fun to be with and Laura, the nanny from South Wales.

He added: “I’m sure they would be good fun and I like the look of Nicky who was born in India, and adopted from a Mother Teresa orphanage.”

The 19-year-old from Blaenau Ffestiniog has been working at the Eisteddfod for C2, the Radio Cymru service for young people.

He has been presenting radio shows as well as handing out prizes at the Eisteddfod.

“Big Brother was my life last year and I will be doing some work for them this summer. But I want to move on and be known more as Glyn the C2 presenter rather than Glyn from Big Brother,” he said.

Despite skipping his A-levels to live in the Big Brother house Glyn was awarded a place at the University of Wales, Bangor. He asked for the start of his course to be postponed for a year.

Glyn said it’s likely he’ll ask for the course to be deferred again next year.

“There’s so much media work coming in and I’m enjoying it so much it would be silly not to carry on,” he said.

“I hate the posh girl Emily in particular.

No way he pieced that sentence together himself.

Haha, typical Glyn. Ahh man, he doesn't like Emily, but I can imagine him getting on well with Laura and the twins if he was in there.

And I went to the Urdd, he wasn't there!

Lmao, all BB viewers pass judgement, it can't be helped. We don't know Emily, yet we like her.
I loved Glyn, he would've been fab in that house and proper loving it if he was there... not quite the hunk, but purely for entertainment value.
Bless him.

But apparantly he should have won for getting sick a bit and moaning about how old the rest of them were.

Glyn was a silent person. It took weeks of his housemates cajoling him before he had a personality at all.

But Ruth, most of us are saying that we don't like Charley, although we don't know her, so he's like us really!

I agree Sunny, Im aware how hard it would be for one man to take on all those women, I hope Ziggy can 'survive', but Glyn wouldnt have known what to do. He nearly bolted at the thought of living with boys and girls, just imagine if he'd been thrown to a crowd of hungry girls!

I think the appearance of Glyn may inspire one or two to lose their appetite.
