Now, I may be being completely daft here, but why is there a huge attraction to youngs in being a 'WAG'?
Sure there is a lot of money there, but have modern girls no self respect or ambitions?
Its very annoying.
Whats bad about being a WAG? never having to work again, all the money you want so you can do what you want with life.
It sounds pretty damn good to me.

Yeah, marrying for love seems to be less and less popular these days.

I think its the fact you have no credibility in the public eye-you're just living off someone elses work...

Yes, but a lot of these people treat it as a career move.

Exactly...
Working a boring 9-5 or living the luxury of being a WAG?
I know what my choice would be.

I think I would rather be with someone I loved.
All seems a bit false to me.

Can you imagine all those coffee morning with people that want to stab you in the back rather than talk to you.

exactly, i would hate being a WAG, you dont earn you're own money and all you can do is sit around all day
i would rather earn my own money to be honest

If you wanted a job that badly you could get one.....you could just pay someone to let them work for you......If you really wanted to work that badly.
Do a couple of night shifts down Tesco's to keep you happy:thumbs:

I think the idea of WAGS as celebs is just bad.
leeching off someone else's talent is just lame and sad.
I think it is just crap to be famous for being famous or buying it just by being rich.
Nothing wrong with wanting to be rich or famous, but at least do it on your own merits.

Personally speaking, when your be and end all ambition in life is to live with a man purely for the money, and the "fame" that goes with it and becasue of his "position", and the price of that is to look pretty and by necessity to keep him to have sex with him, its just prostitution in sheeps clothing.
Love never seems to enter into it, except as a magazine byline

I think all girls would love to be able to take a mans credit card and use it to the max. That is the part of being a wag they like...and the only part they seem interested in. It is an easy way to fame too and they don't need to actually work...they just need to look glam and with the money they have made available to them they can look very glam.

No work, live off someone else, waist a shed load of money, being fause, keeping up with the other WAGS. basically a lazy no good for nothing that loves the money and life but NOT the partner :nono:

I agree.
If I was a rich footballer I would be always on the lookout for the Career Wags and avoid them like the plague.

Come on Red, be fair. Can you imagine how taxing it must be to spend hours every day trying on shoes? Having to carry 27 bags in each hand whenever you go shopping, because you'd surely be struck down instantaneously should you ever dare put the smaller ones inside the bigger ones? Spending minutes every day on the phone to the ghost-writer of your autobiography, moaning that he can't manage to stretch your 6 month stint as an office temp to anything more than 3 chapters? WAGS have it tough. It's not one of those easy-peasy jobs like midwifery, primary school teacher or research analyst, you know.
