No Saturday highlights - Good or Bad?

So its been the first Saturday during a series of BB without BB highlights since BB5, what do you think?

Have you been itching for the latest updates have you enjoyed a night in watching something different on television?

I think its bad because i refer to the sat highlights to catch up and as im going away tommorow ill be even further behind!

Bad. Trust them to put Ziggy in on the Friday :rolleyes: We won't know the full reaction now! And also not a lot of people won't even know about the Charley Vs Nicky argument.

I switched the telly on at 10:00pm, and then realised that BB wasn't on! :sad:

It's a bad idea it means most of the weekend will be compressed into one show. It's not good for keeping peoples interest.

I agree. It's a very bad decision. I want to see the full fall out of Ziggy's arrival and what Charley said in the Diary Room after her argument with Nicky last night.

I wonder if there is any chance of the producer's reversing this decision?

its really bad! they have to condense all the arguments, ziggy's entrance and his time in the house, what ppl think of him and other interesting conversations in the house over a 2 day period into a 1 hour long show! theyre gonna have to heavily edit things and even miss out alot of the good stuff cuz of the constraints the change has provided. its disappointing that channel 4 have to consider competition from other channels where big brother in concerned. its definately the worst alteration made this year.

I agree with the majority in that it's a bad decision.Okay so alot of people might go out on a saturday night and they show some of the stuff that we have already seen but we are missing out on most of the days action and an awful lot can happen in that space of time and then on the following day and I can just see stuff being missed out to try and fit both days action into one highlights show.

Seems pretty pointless not having one, dunno what posessed them to not have a show, especially considering Ziggy came in last night.

I think its bad they should do something on a sat atleast. I think it gives them more time to manipulate things too which isn't good.

Terrible idea. If theres no highlights going to be shown why not at least have some kind of live task a bit earlier.

I think it is a really bad idea as how are they going to fit Ziggy arrival, Nicky/Charley argument and everything else into 1 hour its impossible there going to edit it so much that they will miss out important bits that the public need to see so much. The public needs to see what Charley is really like and get her evicted not keep her in.

I am indifferent and my hubby is thrilled that it is not on Sats anymore.

Often we used to be shown the live fridays on a sat though so not sure I will miss that.

Saturday Night TV is Sh1t. They are even too tight to employ real talent so they have crap talent competitions with dodgy talent and scam you for money with phone votes that don't mean anything except reake in money for the TV companies.

So yeah, show more Big Brother on saturdays. I'd rather watch self absorbed rectum divers like Charley than yet another competition to find a dodgy Joseph, or some nonsense with Ant Dec hosting it :)

Completely Bad!! I liked watching the show on Saturday, as it's usually the build up to evictions, entrances etc. So it is dissapointing not having to watch BB on Saturday anymore. I watched Mean Girls instead last night, it got me thinking that Lindsay Lohan has turned into a right nut-case, shame really.

Bad - I enjoy catching up with the show as often as possible.. always bits you miss and the 10pm show should still be on .. on saturday, even if just shown on e4 for that eve? On the plus side two good shows tonight .. looking forward to Davina on the couch :bigsmile:
