Imma use this thread to say how shocked I am at how expensive POSTAGE has become, that's a stupid way to waste money!

I'm a portrait artist and today I took two A3 size portraits in their card-backed envelopes to post at the Post Office, one to USA and one to Australia... £11!! They literally weigh hardly anything, dread to think what an actual parcel would cost.

Going to Sainsburys rather than Asda or Tesco

Throwing a tenner into a public bin, rather than my receipt, when I came out of a shop and being too embarrassed to put my hand in the bin to get it back! I thought about that tenner every time I walked past that bin afterwards.

Apparently i drove in the bus lane a week ago, that cost me £30. Buying rounds on nights out as if drunk people will ever buy me them back has probably cost me several hundred over the years too!

..oh you should definately complain, Jonnii...postage charges are crazy ridiculous...but it’s just lovely to see that crazy ridiculous happening for you because your crazy ridiculous talent is being appreciated worldwide.....

...I think but I’m not sure though...that you might be able to get like a multi package postage deal at reduced rates as you’re posting quite a bit...maybe worth looking into that, Jonnii...
