Who else is tired of seeing the big charictors in BB being voted out?

Sure I can understand people who say we shouldn't let horrible, loud mouth, etc people stay in because it shows they can do it, and get away with it.

Though I think for BB it should be obvious that w can hate this people, and still keep in in for entertainment, and give um a good booing when they come out.

It depends on your idea of entertainment. Bitching can be entertaining, but it depends on how nasty it is. There's a line in my opinion, and sometimes it gets crossed, and then it's no longer entertainment, it's just uncomfortable to watch.

BB should be funny and light-hearted - not car crash TV.

It's not entertainment if other housemates are seriously affected by it. To a degree, it's fun to watch a bit of bitching and backstabbing, because most people do it and it stirs things up a bit, but bullying and humiliating someone is nasty.

Big Brother 4 is the perfect example really, isn't it?

We were left with pleasant, inoffensive, passive housemates and it just ended up painful and boring to watch in the end.

I'd rather people like Charley were kept in there this year, even though I cannot stand her.

It's interesting to me how often these rather unlikeable hms are referred to as big characters. In fact big characters win Big Brother but big characters who argue, fight and cause people hassle are voted out early because they become tiresome to watch and where is the pleasure in seeing someone causing others distress?

Yes - I have stated a few times that I would hate it if Charley was evicted because I would like the big characters to stay. Yes she is a bitch and I don't think Shabnam is helping matters because she is almost pushing her along.

I think Charley is used to being the Queen Bee in her normal environment and therefore used to being listened too and not listening to others. Her people skills are terrible and this is why she is struggling and reverting to childhood behaviour of tantrums, tears and bullying. She has the ability to change if only she would allow herself that chance. Shabnam needs to shut up!

I really think that, if all the housemates were like Charley, BB would be less of a reality show, more a soap opera.

Ive said this every year, but for some reason I really do want Charley to go. Im fed up of her already.

I don't understand that people find nice housemates boring to watch when, in the real world, I bet most of us prefer to associate with nice people. I bet it wouldn't be entertaining to be on the receiving end of someone like Charley's 'wrath' so why do people get kicks out of watching it happen to other people?

I like the fact that there are 'controversial' housemates, and housemates who don't appear to be compatible with one another because obviously, if everyone was the same, the world would be a boring place or whatever but there's a difference between controversial and self-obssessed complete bitch.
