Honduran Illegal migrants wait to cross the border
[Donald Trump has ordered the military to be on alert over a US-bound migrant caravan
as he declared a national emergency.
Referring to the caravan from Honduras, the president tweeted:
"Sadly, it looks like Mexico's Police and Military are unable
to stop the Caravan heading to the Southern Border of the United States.]

I feel bad for the border states, with that flood potentially coming their way. Hopefully the President will do something to stop that from happening.

It's easy to say it's not an emergency when it's not your town facing being swarmed.

Call in the army, or whatever.
Mexico has let these people in, so they can give them refuge.

"Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador were not able to do the job of stopping people from leaving their country" says Trump.
...really? Is this the rhetoric that we're now going with? It's a country's responsibility to stop people from leaving?
What an utterly horrifying concept. At the end of the day, yes, it's up to each nation to decide who to let and who not to let over their borders on the way in, but NEVER IN HISTORY has it been a governmental responsibility to stop its citizens from leaving. Even for Trump this is a special sort of statement.

What happens when you let a racist have the country as his playground.

They do not want to stay in Mexico,
onto to USA,they all want.
They have had rain in one area
so its not so easy
I think it is Americas right to be able to determine who enters their country. However, I think Trump is going to escalate this out of all proportion to mobilise his support in the mid terms. I fear it could be a terrible showdown when they arrive
I am so sick of hearing about this caravan. Let them come and check into the border and petition for asylum. It's clear both are using the story to appeal to their base ahead of the election.

The fact they’re coming in a caravan shows that they’re not illegals trying to sneak in.They’re looking for asylum.
I think America should do their bit and take a certain amount but set a limit on numbers so as not to encourage a mass exodus into the US.
